two bad losses in the last two weeks, think clough will turn it around this weekend
think thurles town are getting a raw aul deal in these oscar traynor teams considering they are second in the league!
dont think they are, they have got relegated the last 2 seasons and for 1 reason or another stayed in the premier, foggy a very good player dont think anyone else is good enough. Center half that used to play with peake villa is decent but not better than other center backs in the league
Rearcross 3 Nenagh celtic 2
celtic could very easly get drawn into a relegation battle
Rearcross 3 Nenagh celtic 2
celtic could very easily get drawn into a relegation battle
awful result for us tonight, played really well in the 1st half and should have been 3 or 4-1 up at half time but fell apart in the 2nd half i think this result was probable the worst we ever suffered, we need a win and soon
Ya very surprised, when i heard that result especially with the poor run Rearcross are on. What was pitch like? Had ye many of a squad tonight?
12 pitch was fine a bit soft but playable alright
any results lads
Clough 3 . Thurles 2 .. Will give my opinion later.. ( mostly bout the fat keeper )
Ok so we beat Thurles today 3. 2 .. 3 lads got sent off in a game that want really bad tempered tbh .. Anyway their keeper would really want to have a look at himself.. Despite being solid usless he is a little tinker as well.. What i seen on the full time whistle was a solid disgrace.. He stamped straight down on the shins of one of our players when he was waiting for him to kick it out... Most of the thurles lads are good lads but a few let them down.. Their sideline does not help them what so ever.. Anyway we played very well and have a few new players but i am finding it very hard to get over what the fat lad in goals did..
pS it was mentioned on the TSDL site already what a ape this lad is ..
Sallypark 1 Nenagh A.F.C 3
A deserved win with our goals coming from scouter after 10mins and 2 cracking free kicks from Paul Kelly, special mention to Sallypark keeper who was outstanding today.
ya great to have Andy back, serious competition for places there now! hope we perform next sunday has the potential to be a cracker. I see ye arw playing at 11:30 will you go to it?
big surprise with that win for rearcross, gonna be great craic in the relegation fight this year!
good win for clough, can't say i know that keeper, they had a different fella in goals when we played them and he was sound enough, good keeper too..
Nenagh well deserved the 3-1 win yesterday against ourselves, we were obviously disappointed to lose to two free kicks but tbh nenagh had enough chances to score three or more from play anyway so no complaints. they'll want to be taking those chances next sunday but our keeper made some great saves, in fairness he's a great shot stopper. andy chadwick played well for nenagh, small bit rusty i'd say, he made a couple of uncharacteristic mistakes but overll very solid. also special mention to the referee yesterday, thought he did a very good job and gave lads the benefit of the doubt on most occasions given the condition of the pitch
if we win ill definetly be there if we dont i could be at home sluking :) ah no ill go to it alright
ya our game is at half 11 too so i'm delighted il be able to get in to see that game, it should be a cracker!
@ celticlads
I was just looking at the north tipp website yesterday, it wasn't a great weekend for the hoops at all with the b's droppin points in templetuohy, were templetuohy good? our a's played them a few weeks back in the tipp cup, thought they were a good side, kept the ball on the floor
we were 2-1 up and well on top, they scored 2 goals in last few minutes, our b-team have most of the teams around them at home in the 2nd half of the season so were very hopeful, temepletouthy will be in the shake up as will holycross and ardcroney i think it could come down to the last game or 2 couple of big games at the weekend in the premier any 2 of 7 teams could go down at the moment
ardcroney have a tendancy to fall away towards the end of the season so I'd say it will be yerselves and templetuohy going up..
If ye're B's got promoted and say for arguments sake ye're A's got relegated, what happens then?
if that happened our b-team could not go up, lets hope it doesnt come to that;), we have a couple of very good players coming back in the next few weeks so we should improve a fair bit
any predictions for the big one tomorrow ill go 2-1 saints
3/4 .1 to micheals..
no reason why nenagh cant get a result. They are at home which is a big plus. Its cup football at the end of the day
I reckon st michaels will win about 5nil, theres hardly bettin on this?
Ya just seen it now, pity theres no handicap, i would be all over saints -2.
Hi lads
I'm a big saints man this 3/4:5nil scorelines are a bit silly and disrespectful to nenagh I expect one hell of a battle and tight game and saints will be travelling under no illusions of the task ahead . Im really looking forward to it there is a big crowd travelling so hopefully we will get a cracker and hopefully saints will come out on the right side of the result.
saints gave town a lesson today, its the 3rd time ive seen them play and was very impressed with them today, they make it look so easy and really are 1 of the best junior sides in ireland, just goes to show how far north tipp soccer is behind the standard required to win major trophies
wat was the score in michaels and nenagh
3-0 saints couldve been alot more in fairness
good win for ye today panda
saint michael's were good value for the win yesterday, created alot of chances in the first half.. they're third goal was crucial, if ponky's header had gone in rather than hit the bar it would have been 2-1 and who knows what would've happened, but instead they went down the other end for they're third.. the st michael's centre halves are quality
sallypark 3-1 borroway
3 nil up in the first 25 minutes, borroway will be disappointed they never got going, we had two great chances at the start of the second half to put the game to bed but instead they got back into it with a peno, saw the game out comfortably enough, they had another couple of chances but i think we were well deserved winners in the end.
4 wins from 5 now in the league, with the only loss in the last five being a 1 nil against nenagh town. hopefully we can keep it going, although ignoring games in hand we're now joint third so we'll probably just get dizzy and get relegated :)
on another note we're having our third game in a row at home, our b team has no game next weekend and I was hoping we'd be playing away to give the field a break but no such luck, thurles at home, welcome to hell :D
