If I'm not mistaken yer man can also qualify for Ireland, so he'll be well used to deputising for Seamie:)

Game over; 2-1
Seamus Coleman was definitely our MoM, solid on the right and our best player when moved to the left. Constant bombing up and down the wings, some quality crosses too and even dribbled 60 yards to turn defence into attack all on his lonesome. Commentators seemed genuinely suprised and impressed by his quality.

Delighted for him. Really dead on, down to earth fella, hope he makes it big time.
For the first time ever I was right about something :)

Seamie came on in the 60th minute in a 4-1 win over Rochdale yesterday.
By all accounts done well at the weekend again, Everton also flew out for a tour of the the US and Seamus was in the squad, nice if we start earning those ad on's soon. :)
if there was no add ons then it was a poor deal for rovers
there are add on's. if he makes the 1st team squod we get a tidy sum. and if he gets an international call up we get another tidy sum
hopefully he wont get put out on loan, if he can stay at goodison this year he should at least get a run out in a cup game. This would constitute a first team performance i presume - so pennies for us. heres hoping anyway.
Heres the Everton squad for the American tour
Arteta and Jageilka injuredQuote:
Travelling squad: Carlo Nash, Tim Howard, Tony Hibbert, Phil Neville, Leighton Baines, Joleon Lescott, Joseph Yobo, Seamus Coleman, Jack Rodwell, James Wallace, Jose Baxter, Jo, Leon Osman, Tim Cahill, Steven Pienaar, Louis Saha, James Vaughan, Marouane Fellaini, Yakubu
Not bad eh?
Delighted for him! thats some players he is in there with! he will get so much better so quickly! best of luck to him!
Everton use Neville in midfield I think and with Hibbert being the only other natural RB in the squad he should get a decent bit of playing time. Good stuff.
I hate to be a spoilsport but Seamie didnt feature in the first North American friendly. Everton were after Kyle Naughton who went 2 Spurs and are now reportedly after Alan Hutton fro the same.
Would love to see him progress so quick but will have to work hard and GET A BREAK
Good luck to him
i heard at the game the other night that he has injured a toe.
hopefully its not true.
every player starting out needs a bit of luck along the way to make it,
if anyone deserves it, seamie does
Ya thats true 1928, he got a boil or a cut on his toe and it actually got infected and i read on one of the Everton sites he had to go to hospital over there. I don't know how long he is out for or if he misses the second match.
