They played the ball backwards from the restart - the ball has to go forward, so it wasn't in play when the shot was taken. Surprised we had a ref who understand the more obscure rules of the game.Quote:

I can't see Cork fans warming to the brand of football Alan Matthews plays.
They had Derry on the rack early in the second half and should have pushed on for a second goal, when inexplicably his defensive mindset took over, he brought on a defensive sub and starting playing the corners with 20 mins to go, which allowed Derry back into it when we had no right to. Leopard, spots, change etc.
Great to see Georgie back in the EL, so easy to wind up.
