Is he? I didn't know that, I thought he was a titular director of football or something. Is that entirely wise, considering he'd cut and run in an instant if a suitable managerial job came up?
It might be more of a consultancy role until the Shelbourne Development people have an idea about football. All I know is that I'm a lot happier with Brian Kerr involved in the club.
Wouldn't read too much into Kerr having a coffee/drink with one of his ex players. LOI football in Dublin is a very small world, he was probably asking him about a couple of ex Shels players we're more han likely to sign on July 1st
No Kerr, no Kelleher was pretty much the deal as I understand it. According to what was said at the announcement, Kerr turned the job down for a while so as not to step on Johnny's toes.Quote:
