That reminds me of I phrase I caught myself using more than once...
"I haven't done that / seen it etc. since the last time"

"If you can't see that...[insert something stupid here], you're clearly an idiot."
Saying someone or something is as funny as 'arse cancer'
'At the end of the day'
Say that to me and I will punch you
Also 'thats what she said' eg Sligoman while playing pitch and putt
That made me laugh out loud :D

A lot of words I hate are when two words are put together like guesstimate and cupset. There's plenty others too.
"Credit Crunch" - the latest ladybird guide phrase to the cause of all our current woes including the lousy summer.
I may have mentioned it or I may not have....
The combination of celebrity couple's names greatly annoy me. e.g. Brangelina, Bennifer and all that.
They have first names, use them!!!!!
Media: "Roy Keane's Sunderland". Didn't know that was the new name of the club.
Sports news presenters: "That's your sports news". No it's not. It's their sports news. I didn't write it.
Buzz phrase: "Going forward" instead of "in future".
95% of sports commentators: "Defeat to" instead of "defeat by". Lose to, defeat by.

Securitization. It just sounds so makey-uppy.

May have said this already, but the modern use of 'criminality' as a mass noun just f**ks me off no end.
The word is 'crime'. And 'crime' has always been good enough.
The fact that McDowell didn't think 'crime' was a big enough or impressive enough word for his various crusades is no excuse for the rest of us to keep using it now he's finally been kicked to touch.
"whatever'
The misuse of the word racist
The misuse of the word literally
The misuse of the word random "randomers" ffs
The misuse of the word savage
The shout of "In the Hole!!" by USA Ryder cup fans, even if the shot is from 400 yards with no hope of getting in the hole.
Exactly. I mean, where's the second-person singular verb?
"In the Hole!!" reminds me of people cheering at the end of the national anthem: in an attempt to be heard first people shout earlier and earlier. Now it seems the player hasn't even taken the shot before some dozzo shouts it.
"Come here to me"
In cork sounds like "come ere timmy"
