Quality smeg up was when Lister, Kryton, Cat and Rimmer march through a door and it's obvious that Rimmer was meant to say something and forgot, so without a word they all turn around and march back out the door :D
Favourite Red Dwarf episode is either when they went to the Wax Planet, or when the four of them were turned into their exact opposites. Rimmer as a card carrying hippy was the funniest thing I've ever seen in a sitcom
Yeah too of teh good ones there alright
Meltdown and polymorph to give the titles
personal favorite is Back to Reality where they wake up and realise they've been playing an actual reality compter game for the past three years
great cameo from Timothy Spall as the game operator
What about the one where everything is running backwards?
Bread was great and so was the few episodes they made of Police Squad.
Police Squad agreed. Carla Lane = most unfunny person ever.
Just wondering how long is it since you've seen an episode of Bread?
I saw a lunchtime repeat on BBC a few months back - I never remember it as being particularly funny but, oh man, talk about yer dated humour
The family is from Liverpool and on the dole...
[McBain]THAT IS THE JOKE![/McBain]
Not too long because i have the DVD's
One comedy that I never saw until I came here to the US was "All in the Family". It was a comedy from the 1970's, with the prejudiced Archie Bunker. Classic stuff:
You would have probably seen it over this side of the world in the version of Alf Garnett.
I have to say I'm really getting into How I Met You Mother. What I've seen has been pretty good.
Was Yes Minister? mentioned yet?
