A pity they couldn't keep the pitch. Was that purely for long term cost savings or are Cobh planning to rent it out locally?

I Googled it for you m8! :)
Where are all the dire warnings about an American sports investment fund?
What kind of crowds would be realistic for Cobh expect for a Premier Division season out of curiosity? There are very few clubs left now that don't have some kind of outside backing. As in they were taken over or investors came in.
They've pulled out of St Polten, but the club have reassured supporters:

Not a great development. You'd worry about their finances now, regardless of their relationship with the Austrian club. Hopefully they can get through the season. With hindsight, looks like the purchase by FC32 wouldn't have made a difference to the grass pitch!
Are Cobh fans and business people organised to step in at short notice ust in case? It does deserve a thread of its own!
But can I just say I knew it, I told ye so, it was always going to be a disaster, Im great for calling it first, their new investment was never a worry to the rest of the league hopefuls Arkaga Arkaga Arkaga....

Cobh fully parted ways with FC32 ,seems they just dropped them completely funding wise and was left to the original people there to keep it going, they’re also about to announce new investors who’ve seen to have been involved in recent months already….
Gonna have my moan here, watching this for so long and the same thing happening over and over again. So Cobh get new owners/investors and with this new set up agreed to increase the clubs budget far above what the club can generate. Now, what are the new owners/inestors doing, are they giving the club money, ie sponsorship....of course not, they are investing, in other words lending money to the club to increase expenditure with money that they want back, in some cases money they have borrowed. Roll forward and they want out, but club is left with nearly a full time set up and assoicated costs. Drives me nuts.
From what I have heard from some insiders the Club is very confident of the new investors, they have had to wait to take over once all the legal stuff was completed with FC32 Global Investments Limited.
The Manager Michael McDermott had already confirmed this in a recent interview. I now expect a further statement from the club to announce this new investment.
Surprising Roy Keane doesn't get involved - he's been at a few LoI matches this season (albeit up the road), and any personal contribution would be significant by the standards of the League?
A Floridian venture fund, it seems.
