Also, I'm proud of them they mentioned the European games and yet restrained themselves from advertising the Liverpool match that'll be in direct competition for ratings with Shels-Glens. Fair play. ;)
Have to say i think osam is quiet good what he says is generally spot on though he comes across rather nervous on screen that will go after more appearances and i like the fact that hes straight to the point the total opposite of Damien' why use one word when you can use 37' Richardson
and he doesnt always agree with the other pannellist where King & scully
were generally repeating what ther other said
What time does EL Weekly actually begin at? The papers claim 11:30 but it seems to start way earlier. I usually miss it but sometimes I set my video to record it if I'm out. I set the video for 11:30 (like the papers say) but when I go to watch it it's clear that I've missed one or two of the games. What time does it actually begin at?!
stupid sky. Said onthe interactive guide it was on at 11.30, set a reminder, reminder came on, put on tv3, looking forward to seeing the city goals.. whats greeting me but Osam's grumpy head saying good goal etc. etc..
annoyed so i was..
I'd take Osam's quiet understated knowledge over the likes of Rico or King who while they may be entertaining don't make as much sense to any degree.
Began last night at 11.25pm.
Agree with Schumi. Much prefer Osam. King and Rico were brutal. Muppets - like those two who sat up in the stalls, cracking jokes, except they weren't funny.
Thought Osam made some good observations last night. Knew what he was talking about, and there was a point to be made when he spoke. The other two muppets spoke without making any sense. Used to flick over and back in between the highlights package.
It's on tonight at "11.30" so have your recorder's set earlier or make sure you switch the telly on at 11.20.
PS Sligo fans mightn't want to watch, I'm sure Pat and Trevor will discuss the Kilkenny match, just warning yez.
Look out for Ciaran Martyn's goal tonight against Rovers
Looking forward to seeing our goal without having to look around a pole. :D
Gah-zummpp !!
started opening credits
Good programme tonight. Loads of camera angles(well more) and Osam looks like hes getting the hang of it. :)
Whatever the presenters name is, he is excellent. He knows his stuff and isnt babbling and stuttering like Trevor Welch. They should have him presenting every week.
I still think Osam is a bit nervous, like Scully was last year. It'll take time, as Scully now is like a different pundit.
Was Scully all happy cos Kilkenny won? ****ing **** :mad:Quote:

That Des presenter blokes knows his stuff and delivers it well, fair play!
Osam is woeful guys.
You'd sware the guy's had a personality/charisma by-pass operation !
His monotone voice makes him sounds like an extra from 'The Munsters', and he's nigh-on a human anaesthetic.......
Knowledge or not, the guy's hard to listen to....
McHugh's goal was a cracker. As was Ciaran Martyn's.
Dan Connor is a scumbag!! He tried to take O'Donovan's head off.
