Rock hill with a walkover the weekend. They ain't having a good year
heard mike o keefe has gone back to newcastle rovers.big signing for them. ncw afc seem to be in trouble even at this early stage if their losing players of his caliber.
Thats a great signing for rovers ...... i have seen them a couple of times this year and they are a young side who move the ball well and quickly and o'keeffe coming back in will only help them push on to get back into the premier......
Yes Mike O'Keefe played his first game back with Rovers at the weekend, and is a great boost to the side along with Pádraig Devine returning from his travels and a great number of youths players making the step up to Junior, the team is looking in great shape.
Also development of the new field has started in the last few weeks, with John Delaney and Leo Varadkar coming next week to turn the sod.
So if Rovers do make a return to the premier next season, they will be playing on a new top quality pitch!
Fair play to Rovers, they've put a lot of hard work into getting a new set up. It was badly needed in fairness but these things take time. Those 2 players coming back will make a massive difference to them, can see them pushing for promotion now, great additions.Quote:

Ya Seamus Carroll is a good player alright. Is he good enough for pike tho?
its unusual for pike to take a player that really doesnt have a name made for himself in soccer in any league. but sur keith harnet from rathkeale is in there so maybe there was a bit of pull
