Who in their right minds performs "live" testing. Another fine mess.
Maybe me can find job with FAI as they seem to be missing something...
;)
HTTP 404's now
Maybe they should read this:Quote:

Anyone register their details for memebership yet?
They ask for credit card details, yet the connection is not secure, it's just a normal HTTP post.
JOKERS!
Thought i'd let them know about this as i was thinking about registering myself but was wary for this reaosn too but of course when i tried to send a mail to thier contact info
enquiries@irelandfans.ie
IT DOESN'T WORK- amazing
who was it once said "fail to prepare, prepare to fail"
I have decided to give the site a few days before I decided to interact with i.e. join the fan club etc. I expect teething problems on the first day, but by the end of the week I think it should be sorted out by then.
They are asking for credit card details via a post-it form? eejits :D
fai, you gotta love 'em
what pages refer you to the old site - links please? -Quote:

First off, this is easily the funniest thread I've read on my short time here. There is nothing funnier than when people complain and don't realise they're funny. Have a read of some of it, it's classic.
Not too keen on the new logo, but in all honesty, it just doesn't make much difference to me. I don't see the big deal. If it indicates a new-ish begining and the FAI are going to have a crack at being professional, then that's good enough for me. I liked the idea of using gaelic on the logo, but maybe it's because soccer's still viewed as an ' English game ' - same sort of reason why the votes go against Croke Park soccer. I might be way off there, no-one quote me.
The site looks nice though, they've probably ironed it out since your comments though. I do like the chance of working for the FAI, I might send in my CV and see if I get offered the role as second striker.

I just thought I would add my tuppenceworth.
I think the new site is great visually (not 'surfed it' yet though).
I love the new badge/logo FAIreland etc.....very 'colour coordinated'
it looks 'reet' professional.
The Eirecom logo on the shirts does not work, not orange on green
anyway, orange on green clashes, the orange just 'floats' on the
green.
Eirecom need to have their logo redesigned, its a pretty yucky
clash of colours, I think they should get the people who did
the new FAI logo to do it for them.
I would like the same people to do a new shirt too, I think they
would do a great job.
I would love a shirt based around the logo, either white on green
or green on white, as in the top 'banner' on the new FAI site.
I would even go as far as buying one :)
Top marks from me 10/10.
As Alan Partridge would as "Very simple, very effective"
"Combines Old Ireland with New Ireland seamlessly" (my words :p )
Got some really positive feedback about this from friends in France, Holland, the US, Canada, England and Germany.Quote:

I just rang Umbro in England and they said the new kit will be released on 1st October.
Not sure if this is the UK release though, maybe it'll be released at home beforehand, hopefully before the Cyprus game.
Has anyone heard anything from the FAI?
I'd have thought it's a commercial opportunity missed if not available before our first home game.
Wheres the Ticket section gone to? any guesses, not a bad looking site. Clicked on the fans bit and kept getting errors.
The new logo is confusing to me. I dont think the incorporation of FAI into Ireland works, it serves only to confuse, having said that it doesnt look all that bad though it looks more like what a replica company would produce rather than an official team logo.
Think it's meant to enforce the IRELAND aspect of it, think about it, some guy in the States (which is presumably what most of this is aimed at) picks up the jersey, "Hmmm, FAI, nope dunno what that is, what else is out there" or "Hmmm, FAIreland, must be something IRISH , I'll have that"Quote:

Having looked at it a few more times, I think the general idea of the shamrock on the ball is good but I'd think it would be improved without the shield (very un 21C IMO) and as someone said earlier, use Irish instead/aswell or the letters CPE/FAI. Perhaps you're right: We tend to knock the FAI at every chance, but then when you look at the shambles in organising the rest of the site, is it any wonder?
It hasn't grown on me at all. I'm still wondering if they weren't smoking something when they designed that logo. :D
Looking at it again, it reminds me of the Arsenal logo.

I noticed that too when I first saw it, the shield outline is the same.
I'd settle for other similarities with Arsenal too. Like the type and quality of football that we play. I fear I may be living in hope, however. :(
