If a Rovers fan gave you that figure you could probably take about 200 off that
Strong team out for Rovers, just shows their strength in debt

1-0 to Rovers at half time by the way.
this from the text commentary - tut tut:
about 120 or so Rovers fans there in total according to the commentators. Still a good showing.Quote:
07:47pm Bohs will be attacking the Shed End second half. The Rovers fans are very amused by some of their fans who ran unto the carpark to 'confront' the 3 garda there. The 30 or so fans retreated with amazing alacrity.
McEvoy equalisesQuote:
08:10pm What a goal!!!! Forrester reverse pass to Downes who made a great run down the right. He floats it in and McEvoy catches a left foot volley at the back post! 1-1
to extratime
2-1 Bohs - nice wan :D :D
Quote:
09:12pm YES!!!!!!!!! Feely nods on to Corcoran who gives it back and Feely smashes it in off the underside of the crossbar. The Rovers 'fans' don't like it and are on the pitch. 116 minutes gone and it's 2-1 Bohs
09:13pm The Rovers fans up to their usual antics. I wonder if the FAI will take action this time?
result. Bohs win.
Few things to clear up...
Bout 200 Rovers there.
Guys were playin footie at HT with stray balk not confronting cops
Bohs score and dunnes tracksuits abound on pitch quivkly chased off by Hoops
Looked to me that it was the Rovers' dopes that were chased off the pitch - by Gardai...
That HT game was great
As were Flynn's tackles and the speed with which the Bohs fans ran away after invading the pitch. I never knew men could run that fast :D
Edit: another highlight was the extent that Bohs are into recycling - even old tickets...I got a Portadown one with a hastily scratched 5 over the price from the 21st February...some others were from April and one from January. :D
on a more relevant note, it must sting a little to see a team with quite a few experienced first teamers get given the run around by a team of kids and amateurs. :)
but yeah, i know, it was only the LSC etc etc MON fielding a strong enough team means he wasnt taking the game seriously etc etc...
Class how yer arguing who has the naughtiest fans. :mobile:
As this is a football forum PC perhaps you can keep your "who chased who" and "who had chavvier tracksuits " for your BEBO page :)
Decent game, always some interest when we play our bitterest rivals even in a realitively minor competition. more experienced starting X1 for shams more of a reflection of their stronger squad than any great desire to win the LSC and they certainly started the stronger with younger Bohs team taking time to settle. Decent match and both sides probobly not too unhappy, shams wont miss potential future fixtures and Bohs gave a good run out to younger players who will benifit from the experience (even a small Bohs/shams attendance is an experience for young players:)).
Not much running around being given by Bohs in the first half when the first teamers were playing or until Rovers were down a man. Obviously in extratime, even a team like Bohs can make use of an extra player...so with 10 men and at least 5 sets of back four during the game, it doesn't sting at all. Sorry about that :)
Also at the game last nite and seen Killester Utd management, heard they play Bohs in Semis. If this is true then its
Killester V Bohs
Shels V Pats
Rovers started with the 6 subs from Sundays game + Chris Turner + 2 KIds + 2 Reserves. If thats their strength in depth the rest of the league has a chance as they were very poor against a Bohs Reserve/Kids team.Gary O Neill couldnt hit a barn door at the moment and indeed both teams strikers were ineffective.Bohs would appear to have a lot of good young Kids coming thru.
What it proved to me ,at least is that Murray,O'donnell & GON does not equal strength in depth
I would also concur that bohs kids merited the victory.
Mylers folly with the subs may prevent his step up to assistant.
We move on.
