Opening Day EPL Irish Starters...

I wonder if Konchesky is injured or if this means he's off to join Roy in Liverpool.

I don't think Konchesky is injured , so he could well be off . Shame , but Kelly had a good game today at left full. I think he reads the game quite well , and can pass, but has a poor left foot. Strangely though, he played just as well as he normally does at right full. Damien badly off the pace though, probably the worst game I've seen him play for us. Missing Roy?

I thought Duffer was ruled out of todays game, carrying a knock from the other night, so that may well have inhibited his performance.

Not EPL, but we had both goalkeepers in the Hibs v Motherwell game. Stack started for Hibs, and Darren Randolph for Motherwell following a move from Charlton. Stokes and Miller both scored also.
