I don't think we are going to get a date that suits everyone, check the list of teams that have said they are interested, if we can suit these teams, then the rest can worry about themselves.Quote:

Check the fixtures, and pick a date, realistically you have to remember that a lot of people don't go to that huge amount of Away games especially in the first division, although i don't want to exclude the ones that go religiously.
If UCD pick a date, its up to every other club to try and have a team, so if you give say 8 - 10 weeks notice that should be okay for everyone.
Well it won't be a day that UCD are playing away anyway. ;)Quote:

Thats fine, check the fixture list and pick a date that you can get the pitches, thats kinda important too.Quote:

Can we leave it with you to sort out.
Yeah, I'll see when's available.
1st of May was mentioned - that's possibly too early as many of the societies could still have pitches booked then.
We're home (to Bray) on the 4th of June - how's about Saturday the 5th?
Another alternative would be to organise groups of four teams, who meet up when they're all in the same area and play off, with winners going to a final group stage or something.
Definitely got good merit in that idea, although it makes the logistics much harder to work out. Also need three or four venues.Quote:

With UCD having access to pitches, (I'm sure they could be organised through the soccer club, to either get free or really cheap access), i think it is pretty much agreed that this is the best venue, why not run with that date, and invite entries. I would be interested in a couple of people meeting up to discuss options, maybe somenight in UCD, a couple of UCD heads, and one person from a few other clubs, to see if we can really get a tournament idea off the ground.
Would any other clubs outside of Dublin be interested in hosting a qualification group. let us know if you think you would be able to host something. we can study our options then.
 Do you know anything about it? It's actually from years ago, and is mainly in jest these days (it certainly is by section O anyway). Hear sod all from the stand regulars about it anyway...Quote:

Go on, tell us all how much you earn, what car you're getting, how you were chased out of the North, how many holidays you're going on etc. Someone who has to continually boast must have an extremely small dick.Quote:

5th June would rule out Town supporters - home to Waterford that day.Quote:

macy my advice to you is to grow up and stop whining.....yes i earn a good living, drive a nice car, and go on 3/4 hols a year and my penis size is ok i think ( i'm not in the habit of comparing it to other mens )
your right stand regulars don't talk about it, we go to see the game and support the club.....if i wanted to do karaoke i'd go the out back on a thursday night ( plug !!! )
once again, i like having a bit of fun on this board with other members who don't seem to have a problem and enjoy the banter...but your just so serious about everything, smile and have a bit of fun.......
It was you who brought up money, yet again...Quote:

Once again you show how much you know - the whole basis of the arguement was over who sang more (some took it more seriously than others at the time). Still nice to know we were right all along....Quote:
