It was easy for the doubters to come on here and say Avondale were beaten by a junior team in the first leg,put in their place the second leg,junior is better than intermediate but Avondale are saving the senior league

they lost 0-2 to St Michaels in the Tom Hand Cup ( a 3/4 year old pre-season tournament where Intermediate cup winners play Junior Cup winners)
they drew 0-0 last Sunday week with St Michaels in the FAI Senior Cup
and beat them 2-0 at the weekend in the replay.

These top junior teams in Limerick and Tipperary are junior only in name, they would compete comfortably in the MSL Premier.
