How on earth can a club like Askeaton give a walkover in a youths cup semi? Have the youths any interest or pride in playing for their clubs? Way back when I was playing, players would fight to get in a final. I can see why the Desmond Youths team wound up with 13 players at a q/f in the Oscar Traynor. They think only of themselves, shame on them, they don't deserve respect 'cos they do nothing to earn it.

It was very convenient for Rathkeale that for the second week in a row they had no match. I'm sure that it was just coincidence that Rathkeale were playing hurling on both Sunday's as well
Convienent?? Are you joking me. Were due to play Kilcolman in the cup but no ref available, how is that anything to do with Rathkeale. If you knew anything the hurling dosent affect us that much, if at all. We wanted to play the game and Kilcolman were missing players too, I was talking to one of them yesterday. So if anything it was convienent to them
So ye were missing no one so yesterday, because I was led to believe that ye were depending on a number of minors to make up a team, so YES it was convenient that for the second week in a row ye had no match when Rathkeale were playing hurling. Maybe Abbey, Shannonside, Broadford and Askeaton should look for the same privileges next season.
