i wouldn't underestimate Fairview for one minute,they're a good team and as messi said undefeated,it should be a good game as both teams can play football and there is experience in both teams,looking forward to this one

Not once has anyone said that. On no occasion has anyone from Park said "we should be in the Premier". If they said Park will be in the Premier in 2 seasons then god forgive them for having ambition. They should be happy to be mid table in 1B. :confused:

What I don't understand is numerous other players at other clubs come on this forum and say "oh we had a great result this weekend I hope we win the league it was great to win out there" . But they aren't given out to or the figure of bashful posts?

the defence of your beloved Park is admirable at best!!! i'll look at the league table at the end of the season bud!!! but all i'm sayin is when ye played us in a friendly there a while back a few of ye were on about bein "Premier" in 2 years. to me that's not ambitious, just plain cocky!!! and i'm only coming on this site to voice my opinion, i have nothing against Park, as i said, i like playing out there

Exactly weather doesnt look to improve cant see games going ahead.

I checked both pitches down in boro last eveneing, B pitch about 50% under water
Even the main pitch that was played on last weekend is starting to hold water...so much water falling out of the sky the soil is saturated..what the chance of a blanket postponment???

Ridiculous statement - being the only undefeated team after so many games is no fluke.They are the 2 teams that will get promotion in my opinion and comfortably at that.The only danger i can see is a late surge from Park as i feel they will come good-that might be a small bit unfair on murroe but having seen how easily fairview disposed of them i cant see em finishing above fairview.

woukd the boro not agree to bring match to fairgreen,it is only first round.i agree with park been the team who will make a surge up the table said it 3 weeks ago i did.pike B you should concentrate in rising your own team or youll be in relegation battle

agree with the above. reckon all games will be called off this weekend. bad weather forecast for the whole week. we should be used to it at this stage. there's a fair argument to be made about running the leagues in summer like other counties do

Van Der Wheil: There is a long way to go, and yes I've only seen them once, but I'm going for Park Boro to go up. I might be wrong, but thats how I see it playing out. And I'm going to stick my neck out here..... We'll beat Fairview at home.. ;)

fair enough pike b,and as said in previous post's the league is so tight,i find it impossible to find not only a league winner right now,but the even top two spots are hard to figure out,every team in the league can beat each other,there is no one stand out team,imo coonagh were the strongest side i played against this season,as for park ,and from talking to a few of their players they are confident they can go up, i just think they mit come up that little bit short,they have a lot of ground to make up.

well if coonagh are the best team you've played against then there's hope for anybody in this league. nothing special about them. very surprised if they got promoted

I have seen most sides and Coonagh are like Jeckyl n Hyde...Brilliant one week...poor the next...

In fairness though they have hammered the Boro up in Boro and are on a roll...Id watch them more than Park..just went back through posts...looks like they have Boro View and Park at home...that will count..

Best team I've seen are probably Park. 2-2 at home in opener was a classic. They then shocked me and everyone else by going on a terrible run. But now they've turned the corner, I expect them to go unbeaten for a long stretch and go up. Having said that, I was away for our Boro game and can't comment on them.

coonagh are an average side, as are janesboro, park are coming good and play nice football, but i think the best team in this division is fairview, from what i've seen anyway, and have to be favourites to go up. it's fairview and anyone else (except holycross) to go up. can't really see murroe lasting til the end. think park left it too late. wouldn't rule out caherdavin either

anyone else to go up?are you mad:eek:i can hardly see Bruff,Pike or Cals(no disrespect) storming up the table,they're too far behind if you ask me,i wouldn't rule Park out even though they're a few points behind and Murroe could surprise,Coonagh are a good team and will have a say in the final shake up too

100% right oscar. I thought what he said was ridiculous aswell.

As for the game with us, a few lads said ye were better but bad decisions in front of goal cost us at least a couple of times.

But I'll get my chance down at your gaff. ;)

what do athlunkard have to do with anything?! I never said anything about athlunkard. I said janesboro (or janesboro B team to give them they're correct title) are an average side, along with coonagh. That's my opinion man whether u like it or not! I've seen both teams, not as good as fairview. And park are playin some nice stuff. If u wanna talk about athlunkard do it in the 2A thread!
