If thats the case why did they leave it till Thursday night to get the fixture off instead of going by the rules and going up to LDMC on Tusday night when the fixture appeared in the paper. Sorry but that is a very lame excuse.

Very lame excuse, they had roughly a panel of 25 attend the Summerville game there last week, yet with 4 minor's missing they "claim" they won't be able to field a team(25-4 is 21 from my maths :O) I'm sure Balla were only too delighted anyway...A nice easy game against Granville to get over the FAI loss last week...A bonus for both sides I'd say
if balla had got the game off in exactly the same manner there would be plenty on here lambasting cusack for looking after his....own.its a disgrace the view got this one called off....does this mean the view are voting differently now.
it will be interesting to see how many of these "minors" will start for the view in the next match...
Lets be honest here.
This is making a mockery of the league and the LDMC
and turning the league into a farce. Shame on Fairview.
They have more games played beacause they are out of
most competitions. Nobodys fault except their own. It is
pathetic that they can get away with this. Most Junior teams have
minor teams as well who play the same day.? Im ashamed to be
involved with this behaviour in our league.
eh .... is anyone surprised
i know this is a bit off topic but does anyone know how Fairview youths got on in the FAI Youths Quarter Final against Dundalk or have they played it yet??
Any fixtures for the weekend yet guys???

Sunday March 09th (10.30)
Balla v Summerville
Aisling v Corbally
very tight at the top, looks like it could be a very exciting title race again this year, with last years going right down to the wire
its between balla and pike if u ask me,a season too soon for the view, regional will bottle it as usual,as for the boro, well the less said the better
regional could hardly be accused of bottling it last season considering they went to the boro on the run in and won.
fairview have the points on the board and will be there or thereabouts along with pike and balla.
what do you mean by the less said about the boro the better?
regional:no bottle fairview:maybe next year boro:sorry pal, relying too much on b players and over 35's
i would have thought that regionals main attribute would be bottle, danny galvin, dara droog, mark sheehan and more could hadly be accused of lacking bottle.
they didnt really though they lost a lot of players i thought
well he must be doing something right he is in the irish squad
i see mr finnan got banned from football last nite for life by the ldmc:eek:
Suspended For Life , On What Grounds???
Any Other News From Gathering Of Fools
well folks you can rest assured now that the current ldmc and their way of doing things are here to stay. well until they pass to the great committee room in the sky anyway so we better get used to it.
Finnan came on this website and promised changes at ldmc level which were to be welcomed but he way over stepped the mark with the L37 concept. He got way in over his head and L37 (which he was acting ceo of) left a lot of people out of pocket around town including players, staff, suppliers and landlords. These werent cleared until this yank came alone. He pretty much threatened the survival of senior football in the city, not the first and wont be the last, but with his previous with the ldmc this development is to be expected.
shame really - if he had concentrated on junior football then he might have forced through a few changes for the good. Looks like we're right back to square on - I cant wait to see the strokes that are pulled in the next few months with the tight finish in store
mitresize5:
excellent post...more stokes to be pulled than in a ******* convention...
Almost fifty grand was "diverted" from LDMC funds into L37 funds and used inappropriately. The Yank has paid the money back to LDMC with the condition that L37 get the use of Jackman Park again. Mr Finnin wasn't suspended for life as you cannot do that by rule. He has been suspended indefinitely although he is unlikely to surface ever again. He threatened the very existence of soccer at all levels in this city.
Now where is that post that "Oldkeeper" answered to when I asked about the money people had invested in shares.....

Oldkeeper, if you're still out there in your fantasy world, there's a few people that wish to talk to you about "cashing" in their shares.
