Just for personal interest. Does anyone know Kildare's second highest figure?
True, with €10 still printed on the ticket.
And the fellas selling the tickets telling us to f**k off..
Yeah but its the principle of it...they had no right to do that...bottom of the 1st division and charging bloody €15 in...didnt affect me i had a student card!!!lol but like was a disgrace esp with the bloody original €10 price stil printed on the ticket!!
Have we come to final definitive (as we'll ever be) figures on the 2008 season that can be committed to the archives?
Your work is vastly underappreciated pineapple! Kinda like pliny the elder mappin the world thousands of years ago for the craic, to be treated like sacred manuscript in human development for thousands of years after lol
It's as is. I sent it on to www.EUropean-Football-Statistics.co.uk, but they haven't updated for 2008 yet.
Nice analogy though!
Let's let old threads die, eh?
to be honest...i think we will get well over 3,500 v bohs
(well if it's the 1st game)
even so anytime during season versus bohs, rovers, drogheda, derry should get a huge crowd(at least 3,000 for them games)
if not i would be surprised as our attendances will well bounce new era and we well have the support it's second to none
well the tv gantry is above the shed:(
which won't show us
but it will show the stand and the away support...i also don't know how you will be able to hear the commentators for llive games with the noise that the shed will create :D
we are back lads
and no problem celtic tiger
Since when does he speak on behalf of all Dundalk fans?? Cop onto yourself..
fair assessment there celtic tiger
You're being very optimistic in my opinion.
The RSC was a morgue last year, Waterford vs. Fingal won't break 1,000 never mind 1,500. Shels rarely breached 1,000 last season, especially not against Wexford. I'd be happy with 2,500 - 3,000 for the Dundalk game, I really doubt it'll reach 3,500.
And finally, 1,000 people at Longford - Monaghan!??!
Interesting estimates, I was just looking at the premier games for the kick off earlier and I was thinking, all of those look like they could attract around 3,000.
Holiday, I think a little harsh on shels there, they got very close to 1,000 last season in a lot of games. Waterford were poor though. We need to careful about ourselves this season, fans wont automatically flock into oriel, we`ll need to put on decent consistent displays to maintian our fanbase, and we wont be winning anything near as much as we did last year, well certainly no more 7-0 scorelines ! :)
I'd be very very surprised if we got anywhere near 1,000 for Monaghan. 500-600 maybe, Monaghan don't bring many with them in fairness.
Wrong thread
Knock at least 30% off them all; they're all drivel.
Seriously - if yez want to start a new thread for 2009 attendances, fire ahead. Otherwise, don't dig up a three-month dead thread ffs.
less than 500 at the rsc for the big game against dundalk earlier last season and then 1500 for our last home game! some very low attendances last season for some reason! hopefully better this year :) 1500 would be a very nice way to start things off :P an a win of course :)
Deleted, sorry.
