mike bourke is the worst most ignorant referee thats ever blown a whistle..id never gripe a ref without genuine reason, god knows they've a horific task.. but hes just woefull. I always taught, enda tom duggan and john mac were the best.

Enda quaid the second best ref in town are you for real,he's as bias as you will ever see.
just on your selection of top 20 you would presume we as a premier team would have at least crossed paths with most of these refs but i as a player can only remember 6 refereeing our games which are mike kiely a few.robbie broe 1.tom duggan a few.enda quaid 1 the boro, mike weldon 1.john mc 1
Weldon at 13, your having a laugh pal, Id have Ollie Hayes in the top 20 before him, and thats saying something.
I'd also have J.McNamara, G Clancy, S Jordan & A Keogh higher than the above.......but then again its just my opinion.
I'd also have T Meagher in the top 20.
Ive always said it that a good referee is one who will take the time to explain his decision to a player (whether we agree with it or not) and I feel these refs are few and far between, but those who do explain their decisions, certainly get more respect from a player, hence my statement above about Weldon, any time you ask him something he threatens to book you and tells you to go away and stop annoying him (or maybe he just says that to me).
Mungret v Shannon
Heard today that Shannon are missing a load of players and will be lucky to field a team v Mungret, so I'd expect Mungret to win fairly easy..............but I suppose I'll still go to watch it.

Corbally Utd X Regional Utd,
Fairview Rgs 1 Kilmallock,
Mungret Reg 1 Shannon Town,
Ballynanty Rvs X Janesboro,
Where is that tommy mazur gone???????????.did he pack in refereeing or what's the story.
Well said, any team would be proud to have achieved what they have achieved so far and it makes no difference where the players have come from at the end of the day its as you said 11 v 11, and Good luck to them next sunday and hopefully all junior teams in Limerick will be rooting for them in Cork
LOI, he has been 4th offical and linesman in a lot of games.
Have to disagree about T Meagher Abbeyvale. He stays rooted to the centre circle and stares at the ground most the game. A lot better refs out there. Best we had this season where M.Kiely, J.McNamara and M.O'Halloran.

corbally 2-2 regional. a brace from fergal o connell and we went in 2-1 at half time after a shane o connor goal from regional.regional equalised in injury time after a goal by kieran o connell.disapointing not to have held out for the win that would have put us 100% safe.even though there was over 90mins played we didnt close it out to the final whistle.
heard that corbally v janesboro has been brought forward to tuesday 17th may at 6.30pm
abbeyvale i think corballys point today against regional puts them safe?with killmallock down to play star and mungret maximun points cant be got by all 3?would this be correct when you have the table updated?
Kilmallock v Mungret next Saturday evening!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Kilmallock win and they are officially safe, a draw and the least Kilmallock can get is a play off
Same evening Star travel to Shannon for a must win game..................table should be a lot clearer come next Saturday night!
Lads view had more ex loi players signed this year than anyone.so don't be talking stupid,ex loi players want to sign for the big clubs and that's why it will always be between pike and fairview, although the boro are already making moves to try and upset that but they will need a lot of signings to compete with the big 2.I believe their powers of persuasion are supposed to be very very good.
its busy 7 days a week.... stop being bitter, start lookin forward to 1a nxt season!!
Lads can we get back to talking football
For a few months,ya
lads just on our game yesterday.
the ref screwed us big time to keep the view in with a chance of league as he is not allowed referee any pike games.
the view tried to steal a new match ball from us by writing there name on it in the dugout.
than we go in to clubhouse for a drink and one smart man started slagging us about if we had the hurlres we might have got a result.needless to say we left straight after that.
would those powers of persuasuion be on a par with the so called 2 big clubs????????
Two games left, whats every1's opinion on whose goin down and who'll survive the drop.???
What I mean by that is that they can't compete with ye,worded it wrong, but you know yourself anyway,or do you??????

Please dont tell me that LDMC are going to schedule games for Saturday evening 28th of May, when the Champions League final is on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Surely Sunday 2pm kick off would make sense.
Relegation/Promotion
Just a thought but surely it would be better and a more competitive league if there was a change in the relegation/promotion set up.
For instance, 2 get automatically relegated from the Prem with 3rd last going into a relegation/promotion play off.
2 automatically get promoted from 1A, with 3rd playing 3rd last in the Prem in a play off (this could even be increased to involve 4th, 5th & 6th in 1A)
This would mean a lot more competitive games towards the end of the season in both leagues and would minimize the meaningless games that have to be played.
