My internet has been terrible for 2 weeks, with constant cut outs and slow speeds. So I might not be able to show the game. I will know when I get home from work, but I'm sure their will be streams around.

I read in one of the papers yesterday (not sure if it was The Star or The Mirror so it must be true ;)) Steaua are only being allowed by UEFA to have 70 people in the stadium comprising players, management, support staff and officials so looks like they'll be the hottest tickets in town!!;)
Best of luck to Pats anyways, hopefully they can pull off a result!!
Its 90k a round from uefa. Getting to Russia cost about 45k apparently, malta a good deal less. we'd about 2,500 at the Valletta game and 3,000 at the Krylla game
If we get a result tonight, I'm sure we can get the crowd to cover the cost of renting the RDS for next week.
If we get through to group stages (which I highly doubt), it'll be worth at least two million
Hope Pats will doing well tonight. Steaua is a quite tough and experienced opponent but without the home crowd there is maybe a slight advantage for the Saints.
I'm bricking it already.
On just about every measure Pats have no chance, but I just feel this is one of the best "One round from the group stages" ties a LOI team has had recently. An away goal tonight would be immense.
Good luck Pats.
Nervous now myself....
fingers crossed we get an away goal and keep it tight. Would love to bring them over to the RDS with everything to play for and get a decent home support.
BELIEVE.

If St.Patrick’s Athletic were in dreamland following the most unexpected of victories over Krylya Sovetov in the second qualifying round of the Europa League; a victory over two legs against former European Cup winners Steaua Bucharest on Thursday would send shockwaves through European football and change the landscape for the Dublin club immeasurably (Kick Off 6:30 PM).
Irish Times: Kenna believes progress will be madeQuote:
Romanian giants Steaua Bucharest stand between St Patrick's Athletic and a historic place in the group stages of the UEFA Europa League.
Jeff Kenna's side are attempting to progress further than any other Irish side has in European competition and one round better than they managed last season.
I think I'm right in saying no Irish club has ever progressed through 3 rounds of European competition before?Quote:
EUROPA CUP - Steaua Bucharest v St Patrick's Athletic: TWELVE MONTHS after coming up slightly short against Hertha Berlin, St Patrick’s Athletic will mount a second assault on securing a place of pride in the Irish football history books tonight (6.30 Irish time) when they take on former European champions Steaua Bucharest at the Stadionul Ghencea in the Romanian capital.

So no LOI club has lost to Steaua in a home European fixture yet then ? No pressure Pats..... :)
Are Dinamo at home tonight as well ? I thought there was a rule not to have 2 teams in the same city playing at the same time in Europe, but Teletext has Dinamo's game down for 6pm GMT in Bucharest as well.
Best of luck to Pats tonight, two million wisely spent would help you dominate Irish football for 2-3 years....inevitably followed by the financial crsis ,tears , supporters fund -raising etc:o
Buying my ticket today so that a poor result wont put me off, is there a section for non Pats fans supporting Pats for the night ?
No crowd at the Steaua v. Saints game so no need to move it or the Dinamo game.
I generally hate big love ins when other LOI clubs are playing in Europe but fair play to everybody for the good wishes.
Pitch is horrific over there which can be seen here
Romanian press far more interested in what Romanian's our manager had played against rather than our team - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4nC4C...e=channel_page
Best of luck to Pat's be realistically they've little chance in my view.
I'd say 3-1 at best over there and maybe a draw at home.
Given that Dinamo and Steaua's stadiums are as far apart in the city as Inchicore (Steaua's) and Tolka (Dinamo's), and only one will have a crowd, there's no need to move them.Quote:

Yeah yeah yeah, the club and the League in general are just a joke to you, we get it. :mad:Quote:
Just as Mark Quigley did in the previous round, you can follow the game at the Stad Gheneca from 6.30pm on RTÉ Aertel.
FM104 have done a deal with the club that they would cover updates from the match, not sure how extensive they'll be, but worth tuning in to see.
Can't get over these nerves, am off to McDowells soon...
Good luck ST Pat's dead proud of you already.
Ah feck, my Internet is being terrible. No go with the streaming I'm afraid unless it get's better. Hope ye can find a decent stream folks.
Good luck Pats!

Apparently the pitch is so ba, they don't want to risk Dempsey and Quigley for 90 minutes. According to all who've seen it, its the worst pitch they've ever seen
Best of luck to St Pats.
Believe.
Any links up yet?
There's audio here. Haven't seen a stream yet.

The picture on Justintv isn't great....did Steau just miss a great chance?
Yes they did, 4 yards out completely missed the ball.
Best of luck Pat's!
Quiet at work so looking forward to this. :)
There is nothing happening at all but this guy on commentary wont shut up for 5 seconds.
