hahahahahahaha hahahahahahahahahah hahahahahahahahah hahahahahahahahaha
i saw the he was sent off earlier and i thought colbert report would be on saying how crap he was because he got sent off. I then loggedback onto bbc and saw he scored and thought colbert report will be on saying how great a player he is blah blah blah.
Just logged on now and the the thread i saaw under the ireland forum was "james mcarthy" with colbert report as the last replied. haahahahahahahahahahahah :D
The penalty he won is on the video, made a nusiance of himself, got pulled down in the box.
A bit stupid as he would have never have got the ball.
Are you kidding me???
One quick search later
That is hilarious Tets!!!
And Colbert hopefully some of your good juju for being dead wrong and overly analytical spreads to Stokes. Karma works is strange ways. I wouldnt mind if you threw some insults Terry Dixons way if you get the chance.
He deserves serious credit. How many players would have thrown their toys out of the pram when they only got a couple of games in their first 5 montsh at their new club. He has knuckeled down and now he is seeing the benefit of that. I do think Martinez is a perfect manager for him at this stage in his career.
Yes, being a regular in a side that won the champions league, lost in another champions league final and have won four leagues. God O'Shea really had some disgraceful seasons after his first one:rolleyes:. In each of those '****e' years he played at least 30 league games, with the exception of 04/05, where he started 23, and 07/08 where he started 28. Yes he had some very bad performances in those years but to say he was ****e for years is a bit of a joke. I don't know why I always tend to bite when i see your posts:mad:
This one of the better posts that bohsRap should have used as an example of how you are ruining this forum. Lots of negative opinions about Irish players that generally don't match up with the real facts.
O'Shea has been injured for a large part of this season so it's unfair to use any stats but last season he played 54 games and the majority were as a starter. So he could harld be considered as a sub.
Also to say he should go to a team like Newcastle or Villa is a bit bizzare as both are in different divisions.
I know you are only a WUM and I shouldnt take the bait but i happend to have 10 spare minutes :D
Mostly agree with that.
There's no point in hyping McCarthy up to be this sort of wunderkid that we can build up, and then tear down when he has a poor game. Having said that (and I hope I don't jinx him), I think McCarthy is one of our better prospects and I think he'll at very least be part of the Irish set-up in years to come.
O'Shea hasn't merely been a sub for all these years. You horrendous bore.
I don't know why I'm bothering to reply, but anyway

Your stats are obviously way off. John O'Shea hasn't played since November 18 2009 and yet you expect me to believe that he's completed 35 games so far this season? Even if you add in all the pre-season and cup games Manchester United hadn't played anywhere near that by November 18.
The 2008-09 stats appear to be up there twice.
son?
Although I shouldn't bother, here is a list of players who are in and out of Man Utd's first team, just as O'Shea is, on account of Ferguson's very succesfull squad rotation.
Neville
Brown
Anderson
Berbatov
Giggs
Fletcher
Scholes
Carrick
Owen
Nani
Fabio/Rafael
Evans
Fletcher
Park Ji Sung
Tevez (last season)
Valencia
In fact the only players you can guarantee on being in Ferguson's side on match day are Rooney, Van der Sar, Vidic, Ferdinand and Evra. Every other spot is in rotation for even the biggest games. Even some of Ferguson's favourites like Carrick and Fletcher are left out depending on the opposition. The guy started 42 games last year for Man Utd.
But yeah, he's nothing but a sub, he should have showed a little ambition and won the Championship this year with Newcastle like you suggested. You're one clued up football fan alright, I'm sure you have a barstool reserved for you in your local pub you're so knowledgeable and take your football supporting so seriously. You know, the one with no-one around it on account of how incredibly stupid your opinions are.
