Dundalk had been looking very composed and comfortable on the ball. They were controlling possession from the start. Bit of a blow, the goal, but they have the technical ability and physical prowess to compete and hopefully score here.
Anyone care to explain what happened? Only just getting onto the stream now.

Midfielder (Shields?) lost the ball trying to be too fancy in the middle of the pitch, they broke, got given space on the edge of the area and the shot went in with the keeper barely making an attempt to save it. Possible deflection maybe.Quote:

Cliche but can't be missing chances like that at this level, could have 2 away goals! We look the better team so far, just need to keep at it and weather the onslaught when it comes. We're playing well though.
