Nearly all the sports presenters/commentators of my youth are gone now: Philip Green, Brian Moore, Harry Carpenter, Kenneth Wolstenholme, Julian Wilson, Richie Benaud, Bill McLaren, Fred Cogley, Michael O’Hehir , Sean Og O'Ceallachain, Mick Dunne, Brendan O’Reilly. Not many left. Perhaps Jimmy Hill, Dickie Davies (of the dodgy moustache) and Gerald Sinstadt.
Fred Cogley is still knocking about as far as I know. Had an interview in the Indo in Feb.
Could add Jimmy Magee to that list I guess; didn't he do some games at the World Cup last year?
Aaron Devlin, Derry GAA player. Tragic death of a 23yo from meningitis.

Yogi Berra turned 90 yesterday and promptly passed away. Back in 2005 there was a special on TSN about his life and he was a truly remarkable guy.
He seemed like the kind of guy it'd be fun to have a drink with. And his saying, "It ain't over til it's over" is pretty common.
