U were right, easy game for park. Very disappointed in kilreen with all the talk on this site about them . Park were by far well over them. Missing a few first team players aswell. If park can keep everyone together can't see anyone beat them. By far the best squad in the league. Heard also that there will be no Aul team next year, if true I can see alot of the better players heading to msl.
Don't know what game you were watching. I was at the game. Park got two goal from set plays other then that killreen were the better side. I thought the penalty after 5 mins knocked the stuffing out of killreen other then that i think they would have went on to win the game. Park done nothin but lump the ball forward. I think any footballing side left in it could easily take them
Well matchsticks knocking the ball around doesn't win you games. Could be wrong but wasn't the last 3 prem winners park coachford and park (park coachford definitely last 2) and none supposedly played football. Whereas Killummey Pearse Blarney St supposedly far superior footballing sides couldn't top them. Park to win the league again this year for me and aoh too, agree with parkboy, they are by far the strongest squad in the league.
Ya your right there. But if you read my post again I never said anything about knocking the ball around. I thought killreen would have won the game only for a stupid pen after 3 mins. Killreen keeper didn't have a save to make and probably should have saved the free kick. Park are a strong unit and tough to break down. Dave Dineen missing aswel so I suppose it's a job well done. He's by far their best player
That's the beauty of soccer everyone is entitled to there opinion. But imo I thought it was very easy for park don't think Ian fitz in goal was in any danger. Kilreen offered nothing if park needed to they could very easily up it. Dave dineen, Gary Connors Mike Barrett Winston Barry were all missing for park. As I said it's my opinion and park were well the better team.

why are Killumney Utd calling off there games for will they not give in and say they dont have a team to play the games and give teams the points?
The Prem and PremA to a lesser extent seem to be a shambles this year in my opinion. Big teams in Castleview (Gone) Killumney (in trouble) and Glen A (in trouble) have reduced the competitiveness this year. Something has to be done. Going forward I think one Premier division would be enough. Even some of the teams that come up to Prem A are getting hammered week in week out which just puts these teams back a few years because its easier for players now to walk away and play elsewhere thus leaving the committee of the club to pick up the pieces. Reducing the Prem to one division will only help make the 1st Division more competitive aswell I think.
Its a shame to see teams folding but its a bigger shame to see the way the AUL don't seem to be tackling the problem.
I totally understand where you are coming from with one premier division. But nobody knows what is going to happen a club take for example glen Celtic won 1st division 2 years ago I think club was on a high eventually went up premier football lost a couple players and people involved in club and now looking more likely to pull the plug on their 3rd division team over it..killumney won back to back aoh cups lost league on both occasions on final game of season and now cant get 11 players together to play a fixture on a Saturday or Sunday.. I understand what your thinking but nobody knows what is in line for clubs in future teams cant afford to offer jobs and stuff.. who is to say that glenthorn wont go down same road as they did before if you ask me its all about having good people behind the scenes for clubs..
two great posts by kick off and the owl Its upto the aul to decide their the ones who get the big session at the end of the year for free so it will be up2 them I wander would a few club reps go on the aul committee some new younger faces people who knows what is going on nowadays
Whose vote do I have for aul committee ;)
I'm home and dry so Must go get myself a blazer
