See my estimate of the Bray crowd on Friday for more proof!

ExtraTime.ie + RTE.ie attendances from reports:
Bohemians v Bray - 1155
Dundalk v Galway - 1900
UCD v Shamrock Rovers - 1986
Shelbourne v Cork - 912
Bohs crowds are absolutely woefull in a title chase.
Disagree, I actually said to my mate leaving and we both agreed on 1,800 so its not far off. Decent crowd on both sides of the ground last night, also noticed a lot of recent lapsed fans at the match. Irish Times also carried all of these figures, so not sure who the source is.
450-500 at Youths - Derry
the ucd figure is correct and is a record for the Bowl
Sporting Fingal V St Pats
712
Out of interest I wonder how did this compare to UCD`s other crowds from Belfield for league games, Stu - have you any info on this, surely you must have had similar crowds for a host of other important league games down the years, especially as the location was so convenient for a lot of the Dublin sides.
Ive thought of that one before :) It would have been a record attendance if it did :)
The only game I remember getting a crowd close to Friday's in Belfield Park was the League Cup final against Derry which was just over 2100 I think. Drogheda brought a huge crowd for a cup quarter final (around 2005 maybe), there was about 1500 at that I think. I wasn't at the game against Rovers just after Doc O'Neill died but maybe that was similar (pineapple might confirm) and the game against Derry in their first year in the league had a big crowd I believe but I've no idea what size it would have been.
The Star had something like 340 for Finn Harps-Athlone
Salthill v Limerick 37 (no thats the count not our name) ...with 30 comming from limerick
Theres more watching Wexford and District League Division 5 games
I would say probably about 1900 against the Drogs.
With more Drogs fans than I expected, about 50 or so, hard to see how many of them from where I was standing.
Was sitting directly across from away section. Around 20-25 drog fans. Red o bit said there was a few in main stand, didn't notice any myself.

Athlone Town v Shelbourne - no figure yet
Hopefully there will be a big crowd tonight. I think it's a good night for a live TV games. There's no European or International football to clash with it. If these sides go out and play, it will be a great game. For more drama, I'm going for a Boh's win.
Good luck to Sligo tonight as well, they are the best club outside of Dublin at the moment and I hope they do qualify for Europe and win the FAI Cup.
I was told 2082 by Sherro junior midway through the second half; apparently this was up to 20 minutes after kick off. I'll go with the extratime figure just to keep the sources consistent, and also because 100 each way won't make a massive difference to our overall average.
We didn't do official attendances till a couple of years ago, so it's a bit hard to say. The League Cup Final was 2074 and there was definitely nothing as high as that that I recall (though apparently Ireland v Czech Republic U-21s around 2000 came close). No-one's ever won a league in Belfield in my time (ourselves included!), so the Rovers game was possibly the biggest game we've hosted for the opposition. Your previous biggest Dublin derbies came in at about 1600 tops. And seeing as that's my guesstimate, you could probably take 200 off that.
Edit - just saw schumi's reply there. The 3-0 win against Rovers in '99 was a good crowd alright, but as it was one of my first games, my memory is a little hazy. I thought the European game against Kyustendil was a huge crowd at the time, but looking back at it on video, it was only 1000 or so.
Id say around 1800 against Bray.
Not bad considering Bray wouldnt be the biggest banwagon pullers and it being a rotten Tuesday night.
Irish Times have
3,400 in Dalymount
350 in Hunky Dory Park
1,200 in The Showgrounds
Yeah I thought about that figure in Drogheda. Roughly 50/50 split
Sligo deserve to be getting 203 times that support. If I was living in the area and the local team were performing that well, I wouldn't want to be missing it.
*Of course the local side at the opposite end of the table would deserve the support as well.
People are saying Boh's and Rovers is going to be great in the Aviva!? Sligo will have something to say about that. I'm hoping for a Rovers vs Rovers final.
Rovers were limited to 1,500 tickets. I've no doubt they'd have sold twice that.
Don't forget Bohs fans are charged €20 into a home game. Can't help sway any undecided. With the 7 kick off and the fact tickets weren't on sale up to kick off, most nuetrals would've watched it on TV too
how much does jodi stand hold ? 3,000 ?
looked about 85% full
so if there was 1,500 rovers fans there attendance could have been about 4,000
