You talking about Feely? maybe he's offered expenses by Pats or €50 by Bohs. Evan McMillan isn't signing for Pats this year because of work commitments. He's signing for Bohs because that suits.
Its similar to the argument over on boards.ie about Pats and Shels competing with each other for players. Its about who values the players more. Pats might have a budget of, say, 6.5k, and Shels say, 5k. Both managers like Kevin Dawson. Buckley's willing to spend €300 p/w, but Matthews is willing to spend €350 p/w. Add in he's comfortable there etc and he's going to stay there. Just because someone has a bigger budget, doesn't mean they'll outbid everyone with a lower budget for all players.
Good article from Football365 "Go to Ireland for Value, Not Scotland"
So what you're saying is he still has to agree a contract before he signs? therefore he hasn't signed
Forrester signed for Pats this evening.
Graham Gartland has signed for Shamrock Rovers. He's been wanting that for a good while, should be a good addition for them.
Yeah he'd been released by St. Johnstone.
derek foran of sligo any good?? signed by dundalk.
Bit of a David Luiz type. Great on the ball for a centre half but tends to get caught out of position and outmuscled. Not thick and ignorant enough to cut the mustard at the moment IMO.
Having said that, he has a lot of potential and maybe a good run of games could iron out some of those issues.
Dan Murray has left Shamrock Rovers. With Gartand arriving, he probably felt it was time to go. Cork City possibly ?
Killian Brennan has signed for Shamrock Rovers back with his former manager.
Is it just me or has the amount of movement of players between clubs become almost ridiculous this year?
