One game, six years ago. It was great to see, I don't deny that, but it doesn't happen very often, and definitely doesn't happen when the destination is a bit harder to reach. I know the prices are bad, but I'd love to see more support on a regular basis. If people are talking about the fact that the team lacks some kind of tradition, having a good and regular fanbase is a good way to start too.Quote:

Also, Iran sold out their section even though I can't see that many of them flew in from Iran. They liked their drink too much. :eek:Quote:

Cyprus is only an hour flight from Israel ffs!!! its not like the six hours between TA and Dublin! I reckon anywhere between 8000-15000 will travel for our game in Cyprus in October dependig, on results in the meant time.
everything will be sail :) trust meQuote:

Tbat's for flight and a night's hotel and match ticket...I think. You'll need another £100 to buy a round of drinks though. ;)Quote:

if the 100 pound price include flight and a night's hotel and match ticket
i tell you in full responsibility, and without no doubt
all the ticket for the israelis fans will be sail, and there will be a demand for more tickets
(in this price i am coming.... :)
I meant 100 pounds for flights from western Europe, accomodation for a one night in Dublin, match ticket and transfers between airport, hotel and Lansdown Road.Quote:

Well, considering the prices of charter flights between Israel and Dublin are usually about 500$... although I know that over the last holiday there have been packages in much lower prices. I'm guessing we won't be so lucky for the game, though. Last year's ULEB Cup final in Belgium was 700$ for two nights and a direct flight, and it was probably in the most yucky town in Europe, and surly not as expansive as Dublin.Quote:

And again you just prove my point :) - the teams in Israel get much more support than the national ones. We've seen incredible amounts of fans follow MTA and Hapoel Jerusalem (last year), as well as the soccer teams which played abroad, but the national team hardly gets that kind of massive support.Quote:

So, spill the beans! Did the charm or the new grooming regime work ???!!! :D ;)Quote:
