There was no money directed to sporting bodies. Only talks of it. So doubt they got any on that end. Not a clue about insurance.

I dunno, a sporting body is a business that employs people, I dont know how govt. schemes could seperate things unless it was based on turnover, and even a small LoI club its not insignficant. If it was made especially difficult it would probably have been to stop oportunistic amatuer organisation clubs putting their hands up. I wont probe about insurance stuff.....The Lilywhite Lounge was fire damaged many years ago and wasnt covered and the chairman was an insurance broker?!
Finn Park pitch to be turned into an astro surface

Still waiting for planning permission and there was a whole fuss about not getting funding under the large scale grants? Like Dundalk's owners sagas we might one day get a tell all book on Finn Harps old new stadium saga....
Oh and a new artifical surface in Finn Park, great stuff, ready to go in 2036 give or take.
Nah when Finn Park is done, Dundalk will be back in the PD and Cobh maybe too:eek:
Anyone at the Finn Harps meeting on Sunday know if this passed?

LTFC has confirmed no funding has been received from any source so far.

Beside the town end entrance, next to the club shop. Its a bit bizarrely on the away/gantry side of the ground, but can understand keeping it near to the chip van and club shop.
At the bottom end of the shed on the river end would have made so much more sense to turn into a fan zone of sorts, but its done now.
Nigel is correct, the decision might look a bit daft when it rains tbh.

Unanimously 'hic!' :triumphant:
Rockshore bar added at LTFC now too. Good timing with the weather this weekend.
Had thought Waterford's sprinklers were looking well. Turns out they're new, fair play.
