Yeah I didnt love the ending, I won't spoil it of course, but it's a good way to occupy 8 hours. Woody is obviously nuts in real life.
Another thing I think is interesting...In April an 8 episode or whatever "Fargo" with diff characters but based on the idea of the movie, produced by the Coen brothers is coming out....Billy Bob Thornton is in it.(!)
Also this comedy duo Key And Peels, who are hilarious and are kind of the new "Chappelle show" on Comedy Central are in it. It's either going to be the best show of the year or terrible. I still love Fargo, I think it holds up amazingly....so im curious to check the show out....Coens are hit and miss but always worth the chance...
Really enjoyed True Detective. I didn't have an issue with the ending either. As has been said it's really episode 3/4 when it kicks into gear but it's great stuff from there on.
Sigh. I know I'm jumping the shark in general here, but did anyone happen to catch the series finale of How I met your mother? It might be the worst series finale of a hugely successful show (by todays standards rating wise) in TV history. Yes, worse than St Elsewhere, Alf and Seinfeld.
Egads!
And yes I'm roped into it b/c of a female. But I'm still mad!
HIMYM discussions should be banned.
Finally got around to starting True Detective. Three episodes in and I'm hooked. Absolutely class show.
I still think True Detective is slightly over rated.
Fargo starts tonight. Billy Bob.
Anyone been watching From Dusk 'Til Dawn on Netflix? Decent enough, pretty much follows the story of the film, but with a few extra characters thrown in and obviously more padded out storylines and character development.
Watched Season 1 of Rectify over the last week. Slow moving drama about a man released from death row after 19 years, he was convicted for rape and murder. A good watch about him adjusting to freedom and always has you wondering if he actually committed the crime. Season two starts in June I think.
it also has Abigail Spencer.....

Got through the full season of True Detective. Holy sh!tballs. That's an outrageous show.
ESPN has started airing their "30 for 30" soccer docs. Hillsborough was first one followed by Maradona at the Mexico WC...pretty good stuff.
I've now caught up with the Good Wife, so for the first time in years I actually have to wait for an episode.
Gah!
No six seasons, no movie. The end has come for Community.

Peaky Blinders. One episode down, very promising.
Finally got round to finishing "True Detective" what an amazing show Harrelson is excellent but McConaughey steals the show
Started watching Orange is the New Black on Netflix. Not too bad, although something about a basically all female cast in prison doesn't sit well.
anytime anyone mentions Orange is the New Black, it always reminds me of this slightly spoilery (nothing serious) comic from penny arcade: http://www.penny-arcade.com/comic/2013/10/14
Almost through the first season of it already after a few days. Quite enjoyable, some very well written stories. The witty humour is going down a treat.
