600 last night (on an awful night) which is the hardcore and pretty similiar to a lot of the attendances at the Dublin clubs in a higher division. There'll be thousands there next Friday week - the glamour of the cup and all that.Quote:

Also for the Lims Fan that has a pop at us all the time yes we do count everyone coming through the gate as we need to know exactly how many people are in the ground for safety reasons. Until the stand is built over on the town side our safe holding capacity is just over 3,000 so if we have a visit from the fire officer we have to have a record of our gates.

the FAI have set a capacity of just over 2000 for the u21 international.Each el club is supposed to a have a safe holding capacity for their ground as per the licencing regulations and same has to be registered with the Fire Sevice and Local Authority.

Our figures are the official figures that are sent to FAI, its a pity not every club does the same thing and make all there gates public knowledge, as then there would be no need to be explaining this!!!
