We scraped into the CL this season by the back door. If we don't finish in the CL qualifying positions this season, we won't have as much money to spend on bringing in all the players we need next season. And we all know how long it takes Spanish players to adapt to the demands of English football. :rolleyes:Quote:

Now you've been saying there's been no improvement in results, yet we are getting points where we did not last season?
Is losing 1-2 at one of our main rivals, "humiliation"?:confused:Quote:
However we are more solid at the back. We have not lost humiliating games at Bolton and Utd. Goals can come.
The reason why we are solid at the back is down to the formation used, which in turn, restricts our attacking instincts. It's all very well keeping them out, as long as you're knocking them in at the other end. We aren't scoring goals, we're not winning games, and that is a major problem. That's not just me talking; other fans, and most observers in the media think along the same lines. Until the goalscoring problem is sorted, we will continue to struggle. If it continues for a long period, we will have lost too much ground to our rivals. If we fail to make the CLQ's this season, it will be a disaster both financially, and for the team's development. So we must start winning, soon.
