The wiki says he's coaching in Azerbaijan at the moment.
There's a great autobiography to be written from some player or manager who's been around a variety of unusual countries, I think. Rivaldo must have some great stories from his career, having played in for Barca and Milan and in Brazil and Turkey and Greece and Uzbekistan and Angola. I've not seen such a book though. Niall Quinn touches on a trial in Malaysia, and Ronnie Whelan more or less ignores three years in Cyprus and Greece. If there's a book like that out there, let me know!
I bumped into former Grimsby stalwart Dave Booth when he was managing Myanmar, and ex-Millwall player Steve Constantine when he was in charge of the Indian national side. But the one I found most interesting was when I was at an Asian Champions League match. I thought one of the Dalian Shide (China) coaches looked familiar. Turned out to be Jimmy Rimmer - a long way from his ill-fated European Cup final appearance.
Tadgh Purcell to Shamrock Rovers (again).
You can just leave the "(again)" part out on future announcements since the club has instituted a strict policy of only signing former players.
Alan Reynolds is to be named assisant manger at Dundalk
About 295k, the taxpayers are covering it. http://www.sligorovers.com/latest-ne...l-announcement
There's a piece on Éamonn Zayed in today's Irish Times along a similar vein.

Reynolds was kennys assistant in his first spell at Derry also I think, and from what I remember they were pretty successful, he would have kicked his mother when he played but a really nice guy off the pitch, best of luck to him
Yes,
Rennie was an assistant manager, left as his daughter wasn't well and the travelling was a nightmare. Well thought of, and was doing well with Tramore from what I heard.
One of my favourite players for us ever, he was an absolute maniac in the middle of the pitch but nothing got through him.
Remember him getting very heavy stick from our fans when playing with/managing Waterford. Some really choicely-worded chants. But everyone hated him because he was good.
Not everyone. At Harps we hate him because he's a dirtbag. Landed a cheap shot on a young lad when things were not going his way.
Reynolds and Greg o Halloran in the middle of the park were like the bash brothers at cork!!!
