I've long thought the solution to that is to remove any legal consequences of running over such people. And allowing one to sue the estate of the deceased for the cost of the panel-beating and respray. And I am (or at least was) a cyclist.Quote:

Cyclists don't use the footpath. You're supposed to treat them like a tiny, crushable vehicle, possibly in the control of an idiot. Just like a car, but smaller and crushable.Quote:

people at funerals pushing relatives of the deceased out of the way in an effort to follow the coffin. saw a couple of my (very distraught) aunts getting pushed aside recently at my granda's funeral, really really really wanted to punch someone in the face.
