just hoping he gets over the injuries ASAP as he's been out for quite a long time since joining them i think he missed the last few games of the reserve season last season too....
Espn were in the everton dressing room there and the jersey hanging behind the presenter was Coleman 31
Lucky man he's injured this evening.
Any good footage of Seamie on Youtube?
Id love to see some of his runs again..
Couple in this Matthew Judge video.

i still mantain we were wrong to let judgie go. he had a tough time last season off the pitch and his head couldnt have been in the right place. when he was in form that summer in 2007 he was the best striker ive seen at the showgies for a very long time
ya Judgie was great in 2007 but was a disaster in 2008.
If Cook had kept him on and was the same this season everyone would be criticising him,
He was right to let him go, unfortunatly we dont have the budget to take risks like that,
Back on topic, any word on Seamies injury?
Hibbert was supposedly terrible on sunday again
havnt heard anything, no news about him on website, just more famous players that are injured
Hopefully hes fit soon, looking at Evertons bench on sunday there wasnt one defender on it, (altough Gosling can play at right back) and hibbert has to be one of the worst players in the premiership. Everton are going to have a lot of games coming up soon with qualification for the Europa cup group stages almost guaranteed and the next round of the carling cup
I agree also , i think Matthew was a confidence player and cook didnt give em enough encouragement towards the end of his tenure.. good lad too , hope hes doing well now , couldve done with him this season ..
he didnt seem to play many games for ebsfleet at all last season
Hibbert is a good player. It will be difficult for Seamus to break into the team. I think he'll make it however. Seamus is a legend and he'll play for Ireland for years to come. I'd say he will break into the Everton and Ireland teams in about a years time. ( for Euro qualifiers).
Hibbert got sent-off in Evertons last European game so he should be getting a ban for a few games. Will this open the door for Seamus?
Have to disagree with you Brian about Hibbert, the guy is a total liability.
He was sent off after 5 minutes in Thursdays Europa qualifier.
Unfortunatley Seamie wasnt in the squad and Everton had the same bench as sundays, which didnt include one defender.
James Wallace and Jose Baxter got a run out for Everton on the night so if Seamie can get fit he'll surely get a chance
hibbert will be suspended for a game or two, hopefully 3 now :P hope seamie gets fit asap and gets back into it. im sure he'll start off in the reserves again and get his fitness back up and maybe he'll get his chance then. he's had no luck at all since going over, something you need in england.
he was going to be on the bench v portsmouth last year i heard but he got injured in the week leading upto it. would probably be on the bench so far this season if he was fit. he was told he'd be on the bench v arsenal if he wasnt injured anyway
Everton are looking at signing Johnny Heitinga , which wouldn't be good news for Seamie
Anybody know what the story with Seamus is re injury etc, heard from a mate who was at a party in killybegs on sat night that he was there???
Phil Neville looks as if he'll be out for a long time. Could be an opportunity for Seamie.
Think Neville has been mostly playing midfield for them for the past couple years
Still though Heitinga came on for Neville in that match so maybe they see Heitinga more as a defensive midfielder than full back which would make it good news for Seamie
Looks like Lucas Neill is joining Everton :(
heitinga, neville and hibbert all out tonight. ill have to play rodwell rb id say, such a pity seamies injured
yeah moyes isnt cutting it so kenright called me and asked me to pick the team....
Seamie must be fit again, been called up to U21's.:)

Seamie just played 80 mins on his comeback for Everton Reserves against Man Utd Reserves.
Did well, was pretty conservative for his standards, didnt try get forward much bar a few bursts, was solid in defense and had a few personal battles with Macheda especially. At one stage in the first half, Macehda tried to skin him, couldnt, Seamie won the ball, Macheda dragged Seamie down, kicked him when down, up Seamie rose and pushed the young Italian....a little melee started. Was good to see Coleman getting the better of Macheda.
Macheda did scroe the goal though, nothing Seamie could have done.
Coleman came off after 80 mins. Moyles was at the game and must have being happy to see him back playing again.
Seamie got a couple of mentions in the match report:
'' The match saw the return of Blues defender Seamus Coleman from a foot injury which had ruled him out since pre-season, and also saw United keeper ...
It was a wet and miserable night in Widnes but that didn't affect proceedings on the pitch - an energetic start from both sides saw Coleman establish his return to action in the opening seconds - clearing a crafty combination from United attacking duo Joshua King and Federico Macheda.
Andy Holden handed Zac Thompson his competitive debut for the reserve team with eight minutes remaining in place of the tiring Coleman, who received a warm applause from the 1200-strong Halton crowd. ''
delighted i have MUTV now. highlights on all day :D
