The worrying aspect for Seamus is that Everton have been linked with one or two right backs recently. It would be great to see him progress to being a first team regular.Quote:

Couldn't agree more, Cook obviously didn't rate him and that was a shame. Even when we needed a goal he would rarely use Judgie as a sub and it must have been soul destroyin for him. We could have done with him this season on more then one occasion!Quote:

havnt heard anything, no news about him on website, just more famous players that are injured
Hopefully hes fit soon, looking at Evertons bench on sunday there wasnt one defender on it, (altough Gosling can play at right back) and hibbert has to be one of the worst players in the premiership. Everton are going to have a lot of games coming up soon with qualification for the Europa cup group stages almost guaranteed and the next round of the carling cupQuote:

He is currently out of contract and looking for a club according to wikipedia. Totally agree with you re Cooks lack of patience withthe lad which was a shame considering some of the goals he scored for us.Quote:

he was going to be on the bench v portsmouth last year i heard but he got injured in the week leading upto it. would probably be on the bench so far this season if he was fit. he was told he'd be on the bench v arsenal if he wasnt injured anyway

Seamie just played 80 mins on his comeback for Everton Reserves against Man Utd Reserves.
Did well, was pretty conservative for his standards, didnt try get forward much bar a few bursts, was solid in defense and had a few personal battles with Macheda especially. At one stage in the first half, Macehda tried to skin him, couldnt, Seamie won the ball, Macheda dragged Seamie down, kicked him when down, up Seamie rose and pushed the young Italian....a little melee started. Was good to see Coleman getting the better of Macheda.
Macheda did scroe the goal though, nothing Seamie could have done.
Coleman came off after 80 mins. Moyles was at the game and must have being happy to see him back playing again.
Seamie got a couple of mentions in the match report:
