Just a suggestion stu, how about highlighting club's official figures from the guesstimates, maybe by putting those figures in bold.
T
Not that I know of, though I'd be surprised if a novelty like that wasn't snapped up by a few of us. Down this way we're not as into the sad macho bull**** that Micko abhorred so much in his press release. In fact I'd have got one myself only the pink would clash violently with my hair. :D
Actually, that's not a joke. :o
I don't know about that, I thought Derry could have possibly out numbered us.
It was hte worst attendance I have seen by Linfield in a Setanta cup match. But then again I do know quite a few people who go to every game and decided to give the Setanta cup a bye ball because of the draw.
Still suprised how poor our support was though. Our away support will be stronger I feel this year.
OK; will correct that next week (can't edit my post now)
About 1,200 at Dundalk FC vs. Monaghan United.
I was going to agree with this and thought it was a bit poor for our first home game til i heard a good few hundred counln't be bothered leaving the clubhouse and watched some of the game from the away terrace or didnt bother coming out at all for the second half, so maybe another 200 on that figure ?
What is point paying into a match and staying in the pub ?
Would say roughly 300 at County v Shels tonight.
I'd say that's about right. Maybe 150 standing round the pitch plus another 150 in stand or there abouts
555 at Limerick 37 V Wexford.
6,870 unofficial at the Derry V Harps derby.
Looked a lot more but thats what I heard.
A quick edit guys. Looked about the same as the last game of the 2006 season V Cork..(8,000)...considering I've only ever missed 6 games at home since '85 I reckon I'm a good judge of attendances.
About 1,500 at least away fans.
Any Harps fans care to comment?
About 1050 at the Carlisle to witness a shocking match.
Fantastic to see such a huge crowd!
now there is a real derby match, pity other matches around the country cannot pull the same crowds.
A real derby match indeed! huge crowd great atmosphere and both sets of fans mingling freely with not a hint of bother a great advertisement for our league!
Cork V Rovers attendance anyone?
I wish th same could be said about this game (great advert for the league). Schooligans at it again last night outside Fagans aparently. Both Rovers a Cork kids as bad as each other so not blaming either side.
A shame really!
About 4000 at Bohs/Pats I'd say.
Its a pity RTE would not go further North than Swords as the Harps Derry derby really is a great advertisement for the league. Would have been better than Bohs/Pats last night.
Apparently the Star today, put the crowd at 800, i have to assume they left out a zero.
No, that sounds about right for guesses in the Star. They reckoned 1500 for our game against youz last week. I think they use a random number generator and put "00" after it.
Just short of 450 at Kildare County v Shelbourne
Kildare and Shels fan agreeing on 300 earlier?
Approx 1050-1100 at the RSC last night for the first home game of the season against Longford.
the old Stand was fairly full.
555 at Limerick, with that type of round figure you'd swear we were Galway :D
760 official attendance at the RSC last night according to a post from a local journalist on btid forum. I wasn't at the game myself so can't guess.
