shocked by the news. was a decent bloke. made me laugh outloud reading some of his posts here. condolenances to his family
Only met him once, at the Ireland B game in Dalymount last year. Gas man, the guy cracked me up despite spending the night trying (and succeeding!) to convince me that he was Dodge! I heard last Friday that he was ill in hospital, but not for a minute did I ever think it would have such an awful outcome, was gobsmacked when Philo rang me yesterday to tell me the news. Devestated for his family and friends, which, given his out-going and incredibly witty character, I'm sure there are many. I hope the banner was appreciated.
R.I.P.
RIP wws , always great fun reading your posts , the length of this thread speaks volumes of how you touched many lives even to people you never met.
The banner was a superb gesture in Dalyer. World's not the same without wws.
banner was fantastic, couldn't believe it when I heard.
It's a very strange day today...spent a while making black armbands, still doesn't seem real. I really hope he's looking down taking the p!ss out of everybody as usual. Wherever he's gone I'm sure they're all laughing.
R.I.P
Terrible news, I was in a state of shock when I heard the news yesterday afternoon.
He was a true friend and his loss will always be felt.
Terrible terrible news. My condolences to all his family and friends.
R.I.P. Peter.
Great gesture indeed by the Bohs fans .....Im still in shock ..
Peter was a gent. Always up for the craic and a pint, a credit to his family, club and the eircom League.
He'll be sadly missed, as seen here, by many methinks
RIP
Very sad news indeed.
R.I.P Peter Ryan

Obviously made a great impression on everyone.
The music may be over but the memories will linger on.

I only met Peter a few times after Rovers vs Pats games in Inchicore when he used to come down with Nightdub and have a pint with the Rovers fans.
It's definitely a recurring theme throughout the thread as it's not many people who'll go for a drink with fans from any EL club.
Enjoyed his wit on this board.
Condolences to his family and friends.
R.I.P WWS
I never got the chance to read his posts, but in any case, it is always sad to lose someone.
My Condolences to his Family & Friends.
RIP
RIP, condolences to family and friends.
Dunno what to add to everything here. Only knew of him through his posts and I was floored by Peadar's post, so cannot begin to comprehend how people closer to him are feeling. He'll be sorely missed.
Like a few on here I suppose, the shock still hasn't worn off, but sure when it does we'll have the memories. And speaking of the memories, couldn't even begin to start. If you were there you need no reminding, if you were not there you don't need to know.
I have a funny feeling there'll be a loud, colourful, rowdy (Jaidi) away support in Terryland come Friday evening.
I don't think I ever met Peter. However, I have known his father for many years. My condolences to his family and friends. Terrible to loose someone so young. RIP Peter.
May you rest in Peace.
I very much enjoyed reading your regular posts.
Didn't know him much, but still, R.I.P.
Its clear he had a big influence on everyone here, perhaps we can put something in our signatures or in the site banner for him, he was very dedicated it seems (as one can tell by all of his posts) and I think its the least we can do
P.S. The wreath sounds very good, if I can get my PayPal working I will send some money for it
RIP WWS
Condolences to his family, his friends and his fellow St. Pat's supporters. I'm sure he'll be remembered for a long time, as the old saying goes 'Reputations last longer than lives'.
Sad news indeed. Sincere sympathy to his family and friends.
Ar dheis Dé go raibh a h-anam.
a minute's silence will be observed on Friday night in Terryland for wws.
Very sorry to hear this, RIP.
I've organised two wreaths, one from his Cork City friends and another from his Bohs friends, at the request of Philo.
Rest in Peace. :(
I'm in absolute shock. Having used this site for over 4 years, wws' banter and wit was well known and I enjoyed his posts immensely(even though I never met the guy). A huge loss and my condolences and sympathy to his family.
RIP.
cool, great stuff
I'll put the clubs of any other fans who want to chip in on this on, I've 2 others already contributing.
he'd have loved this type of thing, of course half way thru the ceremony he'd have dropped a line that got everyone arguing !!!
Sorry Steve, I had to play on the kind spirit of the florist in order to get two made today. I wont be around later to collect another one.
Try Sheila's Flowers...
