No inflation of figures here in Athlone. We all know down here that we have 350 max loyal supporters. We just need success to get all the sunshiners back and hope we can hang onto some of them if things go pear shaped again.Quote:

i'd say bout 1350 in main stand, 250-300 in blue stand and near 200 shed end. 1750 is prob close enough
1100 seems to be the general consensus for Kildare v. Rovers on the Rovers forum.

Well done to the Cobh fans that made the trip.
a kildare steward mentioned that figure when asked late in the game.Quote:

On the Kildare forum thye said at most 500 Rovers fans.
the people selling the tickets for the kildare and Rovers game said they sold 1100 tickets and their average gate is usually less than 200. I'd say about 750 Rovers fans out of the 1100.
I'd say you're talking around 1,300 for Drogs v Bray.
Just a guesstimate at 600 at Dundalk v Galway last night - Dundalk fans views would be more accurate I'd say
Dundalk fans say 300. Will split the difference and tend towards Dundalk's figure, so 400. I'm also taking out the 1200 from the Kildare forum for Dundalk v Kildare, which was down as "pathetic" on the Dundalk forum.
After all that, the average for this year is the exact same as last year. Which is worrying as we've still got the summer lull to come yet...
Cork City v Longford Town, first reports say 2500-3000
About 2000 for Pats v Drogheda, maybe a wee bit less.
375 at the Limerick Cobh game.
2183 at Derry v Bohs
Does Lennox not give out the crowds in the programme any more?Quote:

The previous game's crowd, ya muppet! :p
Just over a 1000 for the game last night at the RSC against Shels.
i'd say around 1300 at the rovers kilkenny match last night...
I would have said around 1300 at the RSC main stand was close to full so 1100 I would have said.. erm.. counted 61 on the far side.. and there were a good few stadning beside both sides of the stand say like 150 -200 in total.. definately more than a 1000 around 100-150 shels fans
People rarely accurately count numbers in stand - they rarely account for empty seats sprinked throughout the stand.
1200 (according to a Rovers director) at Rovers v kilklenny last night
one jimmy joyce, there's only one...Quote:

The Star gave 625 for Waterford v Shels.
Decent crowd in Inchicore last night. The Star gave 2,100 which would seem about right to me. Pats fans would know better though.
I reckoned 2000 earlier - stand was about 2/3 full = 1200 and before the Hollywood Special Effects Dept unleashed that blizzard of hailstones in the second half, I'd say 100 or so in the Shed and 600 or so on the Camac.
On RTE just now, they reckoned about a 100 for UCD - Bray ..
That was mad alright, fair play to the brave souls who stayed on the Camac terrace for the duration!Quote:

560 apparently for U.C.D.- Bray.
Got the official attendances for the first three Pats games:
Waterford 1512
Shels 2145
Drogs 1735
Uhhhhh, what?! There was 560 there. That's a usual UCD v Bray crowd. Why did they report such a wildly inaccurate figure? Was that on the radio?Quote:

Giving the crowd a few minutes before ko in Belfield is an awful idea.Quote:
