Well actually I play IN Drimnagh... Drimnagh Park & its actually only me & the dog but he's bloody good.
I broke my toe last month kicking the ball for him, I hit a tree root, but I'm fine again now, the toe will never look the same again but I could do a good job in defense or midfield or wherever there's space.
I'm 35 & fit... (snigger) Well OK... I've been meaning to get fit.
KT, can you give me the answer about that Haely-guy allready, in case I can outsmart him if he doesn´t know?! (I see him tomorrow, when we play our first match of the season)
England lost 1-0 to Northern Ireland the other night and the player who scored was called David Healy.
Does this ring any bells...........?? :DQuote:

Can you still make the championships?
Well, there is the whole debate on the Ireland forum about our chances of qualification now, i think we will, i really hope so. we must win our next 2 games v cyprus and v switzerland and then see how the other teams do.... :(
I know how it feels, this qualificationround goes very well for us. Usualy we have the biggest problems to qualify. You go  when it depends on the results of other teams. ( I remember a play-off game in 2001 on Landsdown Road  )Quote:

Latest squad
Manager / Physio: Kerr's Tribe
Liam88 gk
Dfx gk
Dublin 12
Bluebeard fw / md
Drumcondra Red fw
Superfrank md (attacking mid)
Anto McC md(defensive mid)
Dublin Harps fw

Kerr's Tribe if necessary
Ref: Réiteoir
(if we can't get Réiteoir, I suggest for the sake of the international nature of the game that we try to get the eL's answer to Anders Frisk (Alan Kelly) or Colina (Paul Tuite))
That's ten (eleven if the dog is as good as Tram 14 makes out). Two are willing to play in goal, so I know I will definitely need some kind of rolling sub thing going on if no-one else, and I get the impression that the gaffer may want choices too. Did I mis read, Liam88, or do you have a brother of playing age coming back too? I'll try to rope in Dynamo Kerry who is a very handy player.
So could people continue to add their names in, and those who are already listed please put in a favored position. We really should think about having a kick about a week or two before the Dutch date too, to get some kind of an idea of the abilities, or lack thereof, of the team.
Stick me down for foward postion then.Quote:

Defenders badly needed, especially if Field's boys are playing total football

No he's good, discipline could be a problem though....
I think I could defend...

Bluebeard or whoever the Gaffer is,put me down for left side midfield, :)
Good Idea,I can play centre half if neededQuote:

For those of you who may be worried that I will be overawed by the occasion - I was the bloke who refereed the Bohs - Rovers "Fans Goodwill" match at Dalymount Park in May last year - sending off the Bohs keeper - who then promptly went onto lose 8-0.
I do not shirk from the big decisions! :D
All we need nw is a pitch... Gaffer (KT) you sorting that out??? Maybe we should play this over 2 legs, home and away??? :D

Don´t be scared. I told you allready about the dissonant, our Englishman. He doesn´t understand this Dutch system.
Eh.....who's the gaffer KT or Bluebeard??
What does the word gaffer mean? Something like the leader/contactperson?
Gaffer = boss
Or big-headed eejit who thinks he/she knows everything bout football and can shout at you whenever they want...
Sorry, I had some bad managers at schoolboy level... :o
Its about to get a hell of a lot worse with K "the real hairdryer" T at the helm!!! :D
Oh and superfrank, bluebeard is the selection commitee...
Now putting together a selection seems to go smoothly, you must think about a place to play. Is Landsdown Road available that particular saturday?
Can someone tell me more about Ely Rangers from Dublin?
