we lost 4-0 to bohs in aul last night. we were very much in the game up to ht when it was scoreless but bohs started attacking more and we didnt close them enough with inevitable consequences..
Dundalk 3-1 IF Brommapojkarna
G.Kelly, Duffy and Mountney with the goals, seemed a decent week they had in Spain. Today's opposition although finished lowly in Swedish top div, they are expected to do better this season.
The 3-0 defeat to the Austrian side on Monday was disappointing but they are second in their league and half way through their season.
Longford at home next for Dundalk on Tuesday.
Shels the latest put to the sword tonight.
Dundalk should be very scared indeed.
Drennan could prove to be a brilliant signing for Pat's.Shels don't seem to have clicked yet judging by their last 2 albeit friendly results.
If Dundalk don't trounce Longford on Tuesday night i'll be crapping me nappy! :)

My bad, this is correct, they lost their relegation play off and did go down in Nov.
Since when did getting relegated mean you won't be playing in the premier the next season!!!
Cobh Ramblers 3-1 Wexford
Cork City 1-3 Longford Town
Bohemians (postponed) East Fife
Sligo Rovers 4-0 Athlone Town
Drogheda United 0-1 Finn Harps
Shamrock Rovers 2-0 Cabinteely
Roy Keane..Denis Irwin...Micheal Martin...Sonia O’Sullivan..your boys took a hell of a beating.
Yeah that was an unfortunate own goal alright, could see it happening though. Was impressed by ye alright. We could've got back into it second half but Grace was brilliant in goal. Nice meeting you too today Marty.
First preseason game of ours I've been to and I wasn't impressed at all. Really like the look of Daire O'Connor though, could be a very important player for us.
Anyone know if the Presidents Cup Final is live on tv next Sat ?
Chance for Cork to go for 4-in-a-row I think, we def lost the last two, almost sure we lost in TC in 2016 too.
0-0 between Galway and Shamrock R in Drom tonight. Looks like the Hoops will have a strong team this year(on paper anyway). I would be a bit more hopeful for Galway, after what I saw than I have been. Real lack of LoI experience in the Galway squad however, and this was a friendly and only game I have seen. I would estimate 20 plus Shamrock Rovers fans there.
Have to give a shout out to those 20, we had a friendly in dublin at 11:30 against Cabo and t he egg chasing was on at the same time as the Galway friendly .
FAI have done a live stream in the past

Highlights from yesterday's friendly between us and longford.
Love the lad after coughlans miss "right at him you f***ing numpty"😂
Keane is actually from Mayfield, he grew up near where this game was played. Sonia is 100% from Cobh.
Micheal Martin is from Turners Cross itself. His constituency office is on Evergreen Road (where most of the pubs near Turners Cross are). Denis Irwin I believe is from Togher, a city suburb quite close to Turners Cross.
Waterford 1-2 Bray Wanderers. Trialist I think for Waterford, Doyle and a late Ellis winner for Wanderers.
QUB 0-1 UCD
Just cos we're different like that
Mahdy with the goal (Collingwood Cup first round)
Athlone the latest but by no means the last team on the receiving end of a total football masterclass from Pats. 3-0 tonight.
Hand over the league now.
Glenavon 2-2 Harps, O Reilly and Harkin for us
Dundalk 2 Longford 2. I never read too much into pre season but we’re clearly too good for the First Division and it’s best for everyone if we’re promoted now.
Decent enough game in oriel tonight.Dundalk decent in the 1st half and start of the 2nd.Subs had the usual impact of unsettling the original starting xi but Dundalk, well you'd think would have enough quality to counter that but it did upset how they were playing a bit.
Take nothing away from Longford.Decent passing side who look well coached and had our defence chasing their tails at times.A quid or two each-way on them to win the 1st could be a worthwhile punt.
Dundalk made a lot of changes, but I have to say Longford were decent tonight, this is two big results they have had in pre season, 3-1 win away to Cork and 2-2 at home to the double winners.
Friendlies maybe, but they obviously have a good set up about them.
Derry hammered Ballinamallard 7-0 away tonight.
Quite a few new signings in the Derry team.
