Seems that the la la song, vindaloo, and carnival de paris are all the
same thing based upon "oh my darlin clemtine"
Agreed?
Here is a ringtone of it.

fast forward 2 mins
Excellent. Euro thrash pop at its best! It couldn't be any cheesier but it definitely works.
The ring tone and music stream above don't sound the same at all. Although its the first time i've realised that Europe ripped off I will Survive in The Final Countdown...

Don't think it should be used as the entrance theme, just don't think its suited.. would be class to play it after every time we score..Quote:

Not the entrance theme, but one of the main warm ups. I'll never forget Amsterdam when they played it about 15 mins before kick-off. The whole crowd was hopping. Obviously it helps to have an ultra modern stadium with a fantastic sound system but even still it was great. That said, I'd had about 8 pints and quite a bit of Amsterdam's finest and by and large life was just wonderful :)Quote:

I honestly don't think we need music for when we score.
I'm not mad on the Carnival de Paris. I know it's popular across Europe but I just can't differentiate it from Fat Les and the legions of yobs that follow the Brits.

No imagination
as far as i can remember they played 'tulips from amsterdam' :confused:Quote:

Would he not be operating under the guidance of the "event preparation committee"

Anyway I didn't suspect the FAI would take any notice of our suggestion
They should really take it on board. A big part of the success/failure of the FAI is down to how the paying customers feel. They should open their eyes and keep the customers satisfied.
Anyone hear the trumpet at the Israel match tonight? We need a bit of that at home matches I think
Quite a job they made of our anthem. On a side note, think Israel was the first game in a while I haven't heard "The Fields of Athenry" on TV.
Waterford United tried out WTSHNN before kick off on Friday night - didnt get past the intro though as a minute silence was called :( - it was just building up nicely and all!!
Antone notice they played u2's Pride before the players came out on Tues. Did it have been anything to do with this Campaign?
we go out to the match of the day theme :o
would be great to go out to WTSHNN or something rocky
Forgot to mention this before but the FAI did commission a special piece of music at the time of their re branding.
It was written and performed by Dervish and would be perfect. (It may take time to get used to).
I must dig it out, upload it and post the url.
Leinster ambled out to U2 - Pride at Lansdowne yesterday versus Leicester in the Heineken cup.
Hells Ditch by the pogues would be approprate for lansdowne rd not so much the song just the description. :D:D:D
Entrance theme at Croke Park ;)
heh heh :D
Totally agree with WTSHNN!!
A powerful song for a powerful atmosphere @ Lansdwone Rd!!!
I've got a brand new combine harvester.............. :DQuote:

Ha ha, imagine all the EL fans singing "Champions League? You're havin' a laugh" as the teams come out. That'd be brilliant! :D :DQuote:
