Went for the 'safe' double pf DLK & Sligo, at 2/1, wasnt brave enough to take you boys Sam, but was a tough one. PS Excellent home record btw by Harps, definite betting pattern developing.
Had wins with drogs Dundalk and took an evens in match betting draw with shels/rovers, lost on cork and limerick. Made 30% profit on original pot. Roll on next series. I still think limerick are the ones to watch for good odds.
Ok so what r ppl going for this Friday night? I was going to go for Sligo but given the pitch might be in poor condition I'm just not sure. Bohs are 4-1 on pp to win at home 😱 ... This is bigs in Dalymount , fine it's via Sligo but to be at 4-1 seems "generous" by PP IMO
Funny, I thought Sligo were generous odds to beat Bohs at 8/11. But it was still too short to take on its own, so I went for Sligo (-1 asian handicap) at 11/8.
The Dalymount pitch might be in ****e condition but it is big and wide, and I don't think Bohs will be able to handle Sligo's intensity.
Harps DNB is 1.83
Bohs
Derry
Rovers
Mervue
Athlone
Wexford
All over 2.5
Hit the bar again :\
I took the low odds with Sligo (cash is cash) but I've also taken limerick for tonight as they r due a big win.
Few things I like the look of this week.
Harps @1.66
Derry @2.00
Mervue double chance @2.25
Cobh @2.3
Who's that with AV?
Cheeky one this weekend. €2.50 on:
Cork -1 @ 11/10
Cobh -1 @ 7/2
St Pat's @ 4/5
Harps -1 @ 21/10
Also, of course, had to do my weekly accumulator of all the LOI games. One of these days it'll come through.
Acorn, I think with what has gone on the past couple of days it would be best for anyone connected with Longford not be seen near a bookies or even be talking about betting on any upcoming games!! :D
I only really win bets by accident, at least you actually predicted it right.
Cobh look great value. They should have too much fire power for Salthill.
Wexford have a good record at Finn Park and have won their last two games, could be worth a punt as well. Especially as Harps are missing a few players.
Took Cobh (-1) vs Salthill.
There's no doubt teams having to travel up on a Friday is a big advantage for us. It motivated me to back us against Cobh. But Wexford are a bit of a bogey team for us for some strange reason.
Cork City -1, Derry City -1 and Finn Harps -1 comes in at roughly 10/1
Cobh, Harps, Cork treble and Cobh in a single, for me.
Harps, Derry, Pats, Cork and Cobh accum. €10 on returns around €197.
Fingers crossed.
Yeah, bankers... I lost out on €400 last week with Athlone and Swindon letting me down. Both were 3-2 up with 3 mins to go and thought to be "bankers".
Gambling is for mugs....
So, Cobh and Harps will have damaged alot of bets tonight by the looks of things.
It was those stupid shams that let me down last night, had them with pats, derry, dundalk/lmk draw. Was following extra time praying for a winner but realised that it seems shams and drogs only play for draws
Have €20 on a treble of Derry,Cork City,Sligo Rovers.€74 back if Rovers win tonight.Thought Cork were the dead cert in that one, love an 89th min winner on extratime!
Even when cork went down one nil the live betting only has them at evens to win - although cork did leave it late - suppose it makes up for the late conceded goals they've experienced this season so far.
Fingers crossed on Sligo tonight
This week I'm going on single bet on Derry . Dundalk have conceded four in last two home games against drogs and limerick. Derry are on fire in terms of scoring goals and the large wide pitch in oriel will suit them (I think). PP giving 21/20 odds for Derry win
Going for a treble of Sligo Rovers,St Pats and Drogheda.I expect shams to win but don't trust them for an accum!
I like the look of Cobh/Drogs/Derry/Limerick @ 25/1, even a treble with that varies from 9/1 to 12/1. Great Value I think.
Gone for just Drogheda but have a bad feeling about it now. Reckon Shels will get a draw.
