Hate Salthill Devon (by whatever name they choose to go by), and Mervue United, a hatred which goes back to my childhood when I used to play against them, and was strengthened/reignited in the past 3 years. Want to hate Limerick because of the bile between fans of the 2 clubs on here in the past few years, but I lived in Limerick for a while, went to Jackman Park and found their regular fans a very decent bunch and, like us, hated to see them struggling for fans/interest in such a large population centre, so we have plenty in common. Not too fond of Sligo (provincial rivalry) and Dundalk (going back to the 80s) either
Bray cause they can't Build a wall **** whoever said that
Limerick games are definately exciting i have to say lol
St James's Gate, Kilkenny City, Newcastle West, St Francis, Kildare County, Dublin City, Fingal, Home Farm Everton and Thurles Town, Cobh Ramblers, Cork United etc etc and any other club who are in the Oblivion League Of Ireland with Galway United.
Oh well.
When we were in the League, I used to dislike Athlone Town.
In my opinion Dundalk's traditional axis of evil consists of:
Shamrock Rovers
Bohemians
Shelbourne
Current axis of evil
Shamrock rovers
St. Pats
Drogheda
Clubs under the banner of it would be nice to see them do well as long as they don't beat us:
Ucd
Sligo
Finn harps
Derry
Waterford (you as always want to play them in a play off)
I honestly don't hate any LOI clubs. Some I dislike for different reasons.
Galway United for cheating us out of a promotion a few years ago. But they are now dead and I wish GalwaySalhillMervue all the best (thanks for Pat Hoban, John Mountney, and Daryl Horgan)
Drogheda have some of the best football people in the country. They are trying to build a football club in a town that is populated by blow in Dubs who resent where they have to live and forever look to their mothership for all things. However, the inferiority complex of some of their fans is repulsive.
Shamrock Rovers, for their superiority attitude and denigrating the achievements of everyone else.
Bohemians, for destroying Dalymount Park, the soul of Irish football. May they hold their heads in shame forever.
Waterford, for trying to overturn Dundalk's play off win in 2012. Football should be played on the pitch lads.
Except in Oriel Park remember!
I have no major dislike of any club to be honest. The fans of some other clubs though I can take issue with though I hate sweeping generalisations. Cork fans faux moral high-ground stance this season amuses. Trevor Croly's Shamrock Rovers provides plenty of entertainment these days and not for their silky football. I was irked by Waterford after the play-off stunt but then Jeff McNamara springs to mind. I blame the FAI for Galways promotion ahead of us and while it stung at the time events since have shown the folly of their decision. There junior clubs i hate most and that has to do with the people involved in those clubs thinking they are Martin Edwards and continually disparage senior clubs.
I love Finn Harps before games...I usually hate them in the immediate aftermath. Does that count?
I hate Shels knowing that I'm gonna be in the lovely environs of Tolka in a couple of weeks.
