Liamoo - you are due a kicking!

Tarring and feathering, if I had my way.
What were you thinking Liam?
It was truely unacceptable apologies. Ive become emotionally deranged with this paronoid fear of losing Grealish to the Brits it dominates my life. The last time i suffered such turmoil was when i feared bernie Slaven would be poached at the last moment by those scheming scots! I promise I wont post sober again. promise.
As expected. We were lucky enough to get a table in that devilishly talented and creative Patrick Guilbaud establishment. As i admired his 2 Michelins stars ((patricks not Pauls) and awaited my ceviche of scallops Paul had a massive row with Patrick accusing him of been a big time charlie with an inability to suppress his natural creative genius for having the temerity to accompany pauls Red King crab with a Wasabi creme freche. We were man handled out the back with our table taken by a rather non imposing softly spoken northern gentleman and his rather stoic English companion who seemed to be lurking outside waiting to sample some worldclass creations. We ended up with a bag of chips in Burdocks which Paul commended on their consistency and agreed that paul had shafted McEleney(Patrick not shane) cause those northerners are "too cute by half"
You were smart to take him to Guillbauld's - shows how seriously you were taking your contrition. Pity about the crab but full marks for rescuing the situation with a bag of Burdocks. 8/10 Liamo.
Will Grealish break James McCarthy's record of thread pages length before his competitive debut?
fan report on Grealish's progress on loan at Notts County: http://www.myoldmansaid.com/jack-gre...y-loan-report/
have to say, I admire the honesty of his opinion on loan players, and references to previous loanees
Honest indeed but it ignores the fact that he's only 18! He's learning the ropes at Notts Co.
Scored a late goal in Notts County's 3-1 win today
Grealish silences his critics... ;)
Quote:
Celtic loanee McGregor slammed Notts ahead again, then cleared an Adebayo Akinfenwa header off the line before Jack Grealish rifled home a third.
The Aston Villa loanee's wonderful solo effort, beating three Gills defenders on the way to his powerful finish into the roof of the net, was his first Football League goal.

the man he celebrates with after scoring is his dad!

Over the moon, so happy. One of the best goals I've ever scored aswell which makes it better and celebrated it with my dad in the crowd❤
That was a fabulous goal from start to finish, he's selling more dummys than Mothercare
Maybe a turning pointy in Countoes season.
I think you can here as fan say "that is class", have to agree.
More insight here: Opinion: Can Jack Grealish be a future star for Ireland?
Jack Grealish: Twitter
Interesting. But for every loan player that does well and goes on to better things there are plenty that are awful and do the same.
Free-scoring Championship and Irish eligible striker Lukas Juktwiecz was utterly brutal on loan at Huddersfield from Everton, for instance. There's a ton of examples!
Man Utd's Danny Drinkwater was wonderful at Huddersfield but he's an average Championship player now after leaving United.
Drinkwater? that's one weird surname. Just how did that one stick?
I actually looked this up before. The most likely explanation is that in medieval times (and even up until relatively recently), the general quality of water was so low that most people had to drink weak ale instead, which having been brewed was likely to be safe to drink. As a result, a person who drank water would be considered high status and it was certainly unusual enough for it to become a familiar name.
What a fall from grace then for his family....
The Gillingham manager Peter Taylor's opinion ""The third goal, Grealish is a very good player but we made him look like George Best"
Well perhaps he is Pete, perhaps he is ;)
Tricky what are you asking for for Xmas?
another goal today
He also hit the post and had two assists.
Notts County looking to extend his loan until the end of the season: http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/25351411
How come it's not spelled "Knotts County?"
Grealish looked like George Best for his assist for the fourth goal (Liddle's) also. Tremendous run through the middle of the pitch and a deft pass to the goalscorer.
I don't know whether the opposition are terrible or whether he just makes them look terrible, in the few clips
I have seen of him he makes them look like a pub side (after a good few pints), they seem to be falling over left right
and center without him doing anything!
The clips I have seen in recent weeks also seem to suggest he is a good player. Granted it is the 3rd division, but many good players have developed by playing at that level over the years.

Dat pass from Grealish for the last goal!
That notts county supporter who wrote in his blog how much better Ince was on loan than Grealish really is stuck in that english understanding of football. Course he loved Ince cause he was fast, strong, direct, took on the full back and crossed or shot at every opportunity just as he does always for Blackpool maybe a slower version of Townsend. Grealish is nothing like either of those two wingers thankfully he is a playmaker who will be at ease in the premier league and at senior level for us. But good god he needs a strenght and conditioning coach.cant remember many players as scranny as him. Jordan graham meanwhile from villa and at loan at ipswich is the player that notts fan would appreciate fast, direct, crosses everything and a few tricks a proper english winger
Soccer announcers are so funny. During the Liverpool game before the guy said "Liverpool are.....asking some questions right now." what the hell does that even mean.
I wouldn't be too worried about that yet. He's only just turned 18, so still has about 3-4 years of growing left to do. Work on his ability, strength and conditioning will come in time.
In the video there it looks like he's not wearing any shinpads, I thought they were mandatory?
I think the whole questioning thing might have started in this game.

Well, he is slight definitely but you could also argue to leave well alone as if he is impacting at that level of football, which is a fairly rough & tumble one at that end of that division, he is doing fine. At this point anyway. I know what you mean though, he looks like a kid among men in the clips.
