Whelan
Fitzsimons
Guerin
Spud
Quinn

either m.reddan is a genius or the desmond league had their 2nd team out,7NIL..very impressive scoreline.only 13 players there and no pike players....for obvious reasons but no fairview players either, only 4 clubs represented in that squad.who is keehan.
desmond league only had 11 and one lad went off injured, keehan plays with Carew Pk
That is one weak OT team, how bad were the desmond league?!
just stating the rules...
the fairview players never responded to his text so i believe
Regional have only one player on the squad and they totally outplayed Pike 2 weeks ago...........they should have at least 5 on that squad. Crazy:mad:
well if i know martin he'll probably go with
geezer in goals, geezer and geezer in the fullback positions, the two geezers centrehalfs, geez on the left wing, geezer on the right wing, geezer and geezer in the middle of the park, geez is a definate starter up front and the final spot is between geezer and geezer:D
not the best with names is martin:p

Lads, is it just me or does anyone else think its crazy that the LDMC expect the same Junior players to represent their county on Friday night to then go and represent their clubs in the biggest club competition in Junior football on Sunday morning (less than 40hrs later)..............
Surely it would have made more sense to at least have given those clubs with players involved Friday night the option to have a later kick off Sunday (maybe 1pm or 2pm).
If both games were "nothing to play for games" I'd say something, but both games for all players involved are massive...............
Maybe they did, can anyone confirm???
At the risk of repeating myself...LDMC are about as bright as Dark Matter..
of course they didnt offer that would be a logical thing to do
for example the 5 balla players involved on friday have to be fit and ready to play FAI on sunday morning - would have been interesting if Balla were drawn against Pike of the View neither who have any players involved
Clubs with players in OT should be able to request the game on sunday off if they want to
Cork 3-0 LDL
got a message from the manager after the game said they were 1 down after half an hour, went a man down after 40 mins when Dean Glasheen got sent off,LDL missed numerous chances in the second half and were caught on the break twice in injury time
spoke to Glash after the game said he lost his footing going into the challenge
can't remember the entire team but was something like
1 Neville
2 O'Meara
3 Mulcahy
4 Cowpar
5 Glasheen
6 Gazza
7 Mange
8 ???
9 Doona
10 ????
11 O'Donovan
mark sheehan didn't have a problem being on it when he was with regional:confused:
I was talking to someone close to fairview club in the know and to set things straight, Colm Heffernan withdrew because of work committments, Mark Sheehan got injured last week against Glenview, Mike Ryan is out last 3 weeks with hamstring injury and will be out for another 3-4 weeks at least, Christy Doyle is injured also with calf and ankle problems and Brian Buckley withdrew before squad was published as works in Dublin.
i see people jumping on the band wagon as usual on this site and dont even know the facts.
Of the 4 Fairview players picked Mike Ryan and Christy Doyle are currently injured and Colm Heffernan and Mark Sheehan do not want to play in it.Chucka had infromed Martin Reddan prior to the team being announced that he too did not want to play in it.I repeat what wasa said above in that Fairview have no problems with there players playing Oscar Traynor.
i'm not convinced:D:D:D
all the best to those who are in the squad for tonights game......
2 carew players have pulled out due to other commitments..work etc
Where is that OT on tonight and what time?
a better manager and there would be a fine miner oscar trainer team... quality players on the bench on the bench... alot of favouritism this year imo
