i dont think any of the boro players played well yesterday. these 3 no better than the rest. pa mullowney looks to be the best striker in town by a long way imo. a real handful

Maloney bud!! And yea he is doing really well, top player a right handful as you said but by god the boro were really poor great to see aishling nd regional at the top hope they can keep it going to make it an exciting league
on a serious note do any of the janesboro lads on this site have an opinion on why they got beaten so badly by pike at the weekend.it wasnt that long ago that they beat them twice, the 2nd time to practically secure the league title afew years back.things look to be going downhill steadily up in the boro which is a shame.the team made great progress over the last few years after a thorough rebuilding process afew years back.
Moloney/Maloney they're better than Mullowney:o
its boros own fault daithi hasnt a clue how to manage a team hes ruining it if hes any good he would resign before it gets any worse:eek:

its sad to see it turn out so bad for daithi, good clubman who fancied givin it a shot as manager. he just doesn't have the same ability at gettin the best out of the players like hanlon did. in saying that they have lost a few players which seems to be hittin em badly, especially since the players to come in (besides shane clarke) aint as good as the ones who left!
big game for corbally the weekend, after a tough start its the first game they'll be playin against similar opposition!
[QUOTE=Football Alien;1039387]I agree give DOD a break............in all fairness he has lost some good players that SOH had at his disposal last season, and any team would be effected by the loss of those players.
Alan Barry, Alan Carroll, Nicky Carroll, John Barry to name a few.
Massive weekend for them.
If they win, they're 1pt behind Dromore and possibly Kilmallock as I cant see them getting anything up in Ibrox, and they would also be level with Carew.
If they lose they're 6pts behind Carew and 4pts behind Dromore, and at least 4pts behind Kilmallock also.
I'd say myself it will be a 1-1 draw or Carew to win it 1-2.
From team that played in last league match too win league comapred to last sundays 11... 2 players
players not there for whatever reason.
M.Houlihan,B.Culhane,P.Maloney,A.Barry,A.Fitzimmon s,A.Carroll,N.Carroll,A.o'Keeffee,B.O'riordan and A.O'shea.
very hard to replace like with like....of the ten mentioned above 2 moved with their jobs, 2 emigrated, 1 retired, 1 injured and 4 with other clubs
Ronan & barry have moved on...the others are still boro players..bteam
lads lets not get this thread closed also.
A very good pike performance/team beat a poor Boro performance/team.
That is it.
Look forward to next weekends games and stop bickering !!
Spot on

It wasnt so long ago that Pike lost 7-1 to Fairview, 6 nil to Balla and lost a MJC final 4 nil in the same year, as well as losing out in Herbertstown the year before in the FAI.
This was before we became the Real Madrid of irish junior football which certain people seem to think we are.
Grow up lads and have some respect for other clubs and club men.
