yeah good man slice them in half. great man for the solutions aren't you.
in fact they will never play on the same day. as the u21's never played on the same day as the first team last year. the first team will play most of their games on a friday, as usual. A league games will be on a sat/sun. according to well informed sources the u20 league won't start until september (A league plate starts in march/april). when u20 starts games will not be held on the same days as either first team / A league games.
who said that. here you go with stupid half-baked comments to try and make a mountain out of a molehill. if they get injured playing for the A team they are treated in the exact same way as they would be if injured for first team or u20 team (or in training) because that is who they are signed up for in the first place anyway. did you not read my post
if this is true there is no need for any additional appointments for this team. players or management. he should gather a team from whatever players didn't get a game for either first team and u20s and then make do. from march till September this will be very easy as full compliment of u20s will be playing exclusively for this team with whatever players TC wants to play getting in ahead of their u20 counterpart.
all this team needs to do is fulfill the fixtures, results are 100% insignificant. it will allow fringe players to play football against other high quality players. it will create the bridge between u20 and senior for the younger lads.
the overall aim of the A league is to help the progression and also those coming back from injury / not getting a run with the first team. with that in mind why on earth would players be signed exclusively for the league?????
