The last thing we need is to get montenegro from pot 6!

I think that with the right approach we have the players to beat most sides in Europe, so we shouldn't fear anyone.
There's no point in qualifying for a tournament if we fear the likes of Serbia & Montenegro. There was also no point us going to Euro 2008 if we couldn't beat Cyprus and struggled away to San Marino.

I think we ahve tended to fare better in tight groups. We have something majorly wrong if we fear Montenegro

Whoever we draw in the group, I think the important thing is to get a good start, momentum has a lot to do with a successful qualifying campaign, especially for the mid-level teams like Ireland

Not alone do they not have the skill but they certainly have not displayed the passion and fighting spirit previously associated with Irish teams.

My perfect group would be...
Greece
Scotland
Ireland
Bosnia
Armenia
Faroe Islands

If we get our act together we could qualify from that group.

with all due respect, but i would say the say the Greeks/Scots/Bosnains would say the same!

Pot one:
Greece

Pot two:
Sweden

Pot three:
Republic of Ireland

Pot four:
Bosnia-Herzegovina

Pot five:
Latvia

Pot six:
Liechtenstein

This is going to be one of the toughest for us in years, especially with only 4 runners up qualifying.

ideally i suppose, though we cant be worried about the last 3 pots or we shouldn't
