Love that theres two seperate threads rolled into one here. The serious attendence figures one, and the racist/who cares one and that both of them are pretty much ignoring each other. Have to say that even though its rare for me to agree with WAR or NY Hoop around here that they're right in saying its only a song, not the end of the peace process. The FAI's figures are the official figures sent in by the clubs. That said, they are not always 100% accurate as some clubs have in the past forgotten to count the children that were in free. Whatever about how accurate they are or not there is a definate increase in people attending games and long may it last.
100% correct. Always found it very strange why people get their knickers in a twist over Rule Britannia. It far far less cringeworthy than Fiends of Athenry, which make me cringe when I hear it being sung for some reason.Quote:
