Yeah I think Inchicore is the nearest to Cork, nearer than us anyway, not sure if Tallaght might be closer
Very sad, well i suppose it must be nice having something to celebrate seeing as you wont have anything to celebrate for winning anything.
I'm very disapointed that were not going up but best of luck next year anyway Galway. Met a few of your fans last time we were over and you all seem to be sound.
Congrats to all involved. Absolutely delighted.
cheers louth4sam - can say the same for the few fans i met in galway - maybe not so much for the abuse in the mainstand in oriel - but sure thats to be expected
i wonder if dundalk winning play-off did dey inadvertibly get us da last place which mite'nt av been giving otherwise or wud we av passed waterford and/or bray anyway??. on another note dundalk have da possibility of going to court but if im not mistaken they can take it to the FAI no problem but FIFA lawz if im not mistaken forbid teamz going outside da jurisdiction which wud lead to sanctions in europe etc... for da league, will be interesting to see wat transpires over da next few weekz
Great news Galway are back in the Premier league. Fantastic away trip for us Derry fans..See you's next season and well deserved too...
thanks ny hoop, look forward to seeing ye all down in foxes next season. we will show them all what friendship is all about when we see you in tolka park. dont worry we will take points from da bohs.
can everybody just remember that the on the field results were based on the last 5 years and not the last season. So for the last couple of seasons i know we finished a long way above dundalk. You all signed up for it all so stop the bitching but we will wave hello as we go on to play the only team in louth. by the way dufc good luck against the northern boys in the setanta cup. please beat linfield.
Only 175kms.  Nice short hop!Quote:

Mind you the journalist covering the story for them reminded everyone of his club allegiance!!
according to that we finished top for off the field (so far) with UCD in a close second !!!!!
You idiot! GUFC operated with a surplus this year slashing debt by 50% these are facts. Its not the way we would have preferred to go up but the board and volunteers of all clubs knew 18 months ago what had to be done so fair deal....... if you guys are well run you might get in if Shels fail to sort their house out.....but wait a minute.....Waterford finished ahead of you guys too! Stop your moaning take it on the chin like we would have had we not got in (with the exception of Conor H i suppose!)
glad ye got in but still think it's cat on dundalk.
