If the players and management approach the two San Marino games in the same way that the Czechs and Germans did then I'm sure we'll score at least four. My point is that in our current predicament there is very little we can take for granted.

The tactics and lineup are Stan's responsibility. I can't believe he's blaming Bobby. In public. What a disgrace. And having been through a divorce himself you'd think Stan would know better than to draw public attention to Paddy Kenny's situation. That's no way to treat him. Shay Given isn't fully fit yet and we need Kenny. Wayne Henderson was decent against the Czech Republic, but he was well out of position for the goal.
Langer.

What exactly is our current predicament?
If the Czech game proved anything it is that we do have the players to at least compete at this level.IF they put in the required amount of effort and IF we play the best players available to us. We should wipe the floor with san marino. Much of what Staunton comes out with is silly nonsense but he was right when he said that we dont know what results will happen down the road in terms of the other teams in the groups games. We should be looking to win all our remaining games and see where that leaves us at the end of things in the group.
